One of our favorite spots in Iceland. The view is extraordinary, on an isolated hill with exposure in all directions. But they don't coast on their location -- everything was clean and professionally done. Remarkably good dinner and lovely staff.

We checked in at 9 pm and had told the staff that we will arrive at that time. The staff just left the building when we arrived. There was no facilities in the room such as a kettle nor could we access the common kitchen to ask for hot water to make some soup or noodles, meaning that we had no food to eat after a long day of hiking.

There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room or in the dinner area for guests. Luckily the tap water is excellent for drinking! Wifi was so-so.

Lovely guesthouse on a working sheep farm. We stayed in a room in the main building with private bathroom. The room seemed newly renovated, it was quite large and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. It had a good shower. The beds were ok, a bit on the soft side for us. Our room had a wonderful view over the glaciers in the area, which was pretty amazing! The guesthouse has a dining/breakfast area with similar awesome views. We did not have dinner but did enjoy complementary (cold) breakfast. That was very good with lots of jams, meets, bread and toast, drinks, sweet herring, etc. and homemade cakes. Location is about 30mins from Hofn, so keep that in mind. The farm is about 3kms from the ringroad and surrounded by fields full of tsjirping birds.

Close to the Ring Road, but feeling there is very remote. Clean and cozy room, very tasty breakfast included, welcoming staff and if you want to dine there, they offer super delicious dinner options with local lamb. Definitely recommend!

The woman at the reception should be warmer, the place is perfect but god what a cold welcome... Same with the service for dinner, it is not bad but it would be so much better with a smile.

The place itself, clean and comfortable. The location is also really nice. We enjoyed our stay.
