1) The hotel only offers shuttle from hotel to the airport, and not the other way around, you have to get to the hotel on your own. Although i did this using bus 55, it would have been nicer if the shuttle would also be available from the airport to the hotel. 2) the tile floor in the bathroom and laminated floor in the room were cold (and I was there in August!), and they dont provide slippers . So make sure you either bring your own slippers or have something like thick socks to walk around the room and in the bathroom.

I wanted to use Icelandair service of checking in your baggage the day before, so I went to the airport, and needed to stay nearby. This hotel is convenient, facilities we good and room was clean. I liked that they offer shuttle bus to the airport, which i used the next morning. The local is close to the airport, however in taxi app Hopp no driver wanted to take my order. I did not want to overpay for airport taxi, so I used local bus 55 from the stop at the airport (close to hotel Aurora) to the stop Keilir, and walked 7 min to the hotel. The surroundings were a bit empty, with no people around, although on my way i passed an open grocery store and saw some people inside in the restaurant. The walk was fine, the road is in a good condition, so i would have made it even with the baggage, but I was there in August. I imagine in the winter the walk from the bus stop might be challening.

In the bathroom there is only a rain shower, and if you don't want to get your hair wet, you're out of luck. I went to the reception to ask for a shower cap, they didn't have one in the room, and I received a very rude answer that they are not a 5 star hotel. However, it seems normal to have a shower cap in a bathroom that does not have a normal shower.

I stayed in this hotel several times starting in 2021. Now it is completely renovated and the rooms look much better than before. The rooms are large, nicely furnished and warm.

None of the staff was friendly. I met 3-4...not a friendly greeting or smile anywhere. I felt more like an annoyance than a valued customer.

There wasn't anything nearby for keeping busy. The town of Keflavik, which does have restaurants and sights, was within about a 30 plus minute walk, and it seemed there was an accessible footpath to it, but at the end of our 2 week vacay, we were too tired to chance it. There is one cafe type place right next door, which is where we went for dinner, but it didn't really have a lot of menu options.

It was close to the airport. Breakfast was good; nice staff; free airport shuttle can be easily booked in advance; spacious room with hotel amenities. If you're looking for a convenient place to get a decent sleep the night before your flight home, this is a good option at a reasonable price.

Hotel only offers pickup to the airport but not from the airport. Very inconvenient because the local bus doesn't run often and small taxi from airport is a 10 min ride but costs around 5000 ISK (around 35 euro). As they do offer shuttle service to the airport it's weird because their bus will drive back empty...

The room is very spacious but the beds are very narrow and have tiny nightstands which was a bit weird, plenty of space though for opening up your suitcase! Friendly and efficient staff at restaurant with limited but ok menu. Prices reasonable.

When you check in there is a Polish guy who does only the car rentals. People lined up in his queue. He just sat there checking his phone and didn't even notify others he doesn't do checkins. The Icelandic workers are all very nice and helpful.

The shuttle to the airport was great, the bus driver from Ghana is a great dude!

We booked two rooms because Booking.com stated that our party of four would not fit in one room, but we ended up in two rooms with a total of seven beds (four twins in one room and three twins in the other). I wish we had only booked one room.

The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are huge. The airport shuttle was right on time. I think it leaves from the hotel every hour, and you can book it ahead of time.

The location is great for someone who has an early morning flight. There is an early morning shuttle and a 4 a.m breakfast. The room was big and comfortable with coffee machine and tea. Despite it is very close to airport the hotel is very quite and nice with Bistro (open after 5 p.m) Stuff is very nice and helpful. In general great experience!! Thank you Konvin!!
