Amazing views. Quite perfect to relax

Absolutely everything about this experience was amazing and very luxurious. It is not cheap but still offers value for money and we loved staying here and the view from the bed.

Cozy dome in a fantastic location with endless view to a beautiful lake. It has everything you need for a relaxed stay. We even found a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended.

The location was beautiful even with the bad weather. The dome was a bit cold at night and you could feel a bit of a draft from the 'window' and door and the heating ag times wasn't enough - we opted to not use the fireplace as we have two very young children. The staff was amazing and even came over to offer an extra heater without us even asking for it. The whole place was comfortable and as a breastfeeding mum I really appreciated the armchairs and sofa - they also provided extra pillows and blanket for me and my baby to stay comfy during night feeds. Thank you for the memorable stay!

We wish there were instructions on fireplace operations (like where the firesticks were) beforehand but that is minor stuff. Also, the floor had some cracks but again nothing at all to take away from the experience.

The property was amazing. Klaudia gave us amazing service as the manager. The rooms were well equipped and clean. Instructions to check in were great. We had no experience with the fireplace, but Klaudia and her team responded quickly. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. They responded to need for wood and fresh towels quickly. We would definitely come back and stay at Circle Domes.

A curtain on the front door maybe, just to have a bit more of privacy.

Amazing location, in the middle of nowhere! I would suggest to grab some groceries before you arrive as the first grocery store in 20 min away. Other than that, the Dome is really cozy and the view is stunning

Nothing not to like

The dome was great so nice and cozzy. The staff were amazing as well they made our stay above and beyond. We will stay again on our next trip maybe for longer next time.

We stayed in Dome 2 which has a bit of damage/repair attempt to the front window which does obscure view slightly. Unfortunately the electric tripped during our stay which was sorted promptly. Also, we ran out of logs at 6am which wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t an extremely cold January morning in Iceland! The host sorted both without delay when we reported each matter.

A truly unique experience with stunning views especially at sunset. The dome was very well equipped, it even had an electric blanket which we used because temps were minus 14°c! The fire was good, beds comfortable and a nice private space to relax in.

The door didn't close properly but was addressed quickly and the door was sealed with toilet paper to try and keep the cold out. With both provided heaters running and maintaining a fire throughout the night it was still uncomfortably cold.

At first we didn’t get wood for lighting fire a second round. As it was -17 outside and the two electric heaters cannot make the cabin warm enough (it was 9 degrees when we arrived and when we woke up), this was important to get comfortable. But they brought us enough later, which was great. The place is a once in a lifetime experience!

Beautiful designed dome with a terrific view on white snowy fields and the lake further away. Do make sure you don’t receive done 5 as it does not have any view. A bottle of wine upon arrival.

Dear Golden circle domes Lakeview, I am writing to say thank you for a wonderful stay on your luxurious, comfy and glamorous Igloo dome. The night stay way a surprise, which ended up as a proposal. On arrival, the romantic twinkly lights lit up the dome and the sunset and surrounding areas made it a perfect location for a getaway. When entering the dome, the room was decorated with balloons, petals, candles, cake and a very lovely bottle of champagne. This personal touch made the environment perfect for the proposal. Inside the dome, the amenities were delightful, we had fresh towels, coffee, toiletries and we loved using the logs on the fire. The view from the top bed looked directly up to the stars and made the stay unforgettable. We made very good friends with the woodcutter and handy man who supported us in a snowy ordeal. The staff were friendly and supported to us during this time. We appreciate the effort that has gone into making this the perfect stay and will recommend to our friends. Thank you again!

the 2nd bed, which is located higher up in the dome was very warm due to warm air rising.

Very nice dome accommodation with everything you could expect. Nice interior and comfy beds. Unfortunately no Aurora during our stay, but that's just down to luck. Would have been an awesome location had there been activity.

Nothing really, we were a bit sceptic due to the hard snow and low temperatures, but actually ended up having the best time! Would have been nice to have a northern lights wake up call possibility :)

Front door does not lock from inside. Air leak makes insufficient the heat sources during winter. Parking too far away if you have heavy luggage.

The dome was very cold throughout our stay as it only has a wood-stove. Also they could have provided instructions about the instant boiler for the shower.
