Excellent reception from Dagmar and her team. Good selection of breakfast items. Spacious rooms and quiet location, close to Blue Lagoon and Gunnuhver Hot Springs. Highly recommended.

The host was exceptional! It was like being at home. I made a mistake, booking for the wrong date, and they within 10 minutes fixed a room for us and solved the problem. Unbelievable. I want to compliment the homemade cupcakes 🧁 , we ate quite a few of them. They were incredible! The hostess speaks very good Italian, so if you have any problem she is available. I want to thank them again for helping us and allowing us to finish our holiday without a bad experience.

Fantastic guesthouse! The house is lovely, spacious and very clean. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us upon arrival (they also left us informative instructions in case they weren't on-site when we arrived). For the price and location, it is an awesome stay. Highly recommend!

The only negative aspect in comparison of how it was before changing hosts is that it seems to be much more expensive than it used to. It's worth it anyway...

I stayed here twice last year and I had already marked this acommodation with a 10, but now it deserves even more!! the new hosts have refurbished the property and it's all new, beautiful and super clean. The room was a dream, spacious and with comfortable and very good smelling beds. The breakfast is very good and convenient as you can serve yourself at the kitchen. I had a short chat with the host and he was super nice. I'd really love to come back and I will for sure if I have the chance!

only 1 shared bathroom with a shower on 1st floor; a bit inconvenient for rooms located on the 2nd floor.

Nice and welcoming host. Good location near the Blue Lagoon and volcano area for hiking. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Shared kitchen with breakfast and amenities was nice!

Very homely and well equipped pantry for all your cooking needs. Dagmar and Hjalti took time to engage and share their story with us - lovely couple and family. Also we were pleasantly surprised with freshly baked croissants by Hjalti for breakfast!

I messaged with questions about hiking and other activities in the area in advance of our trip and Dagmar was always quick to get back to me. In the eleven days we spent driving the Ring Road, this was by far the best breakfast!

Guesthouse belongs to lovely Icelandic couple with adorable german shepherd. Breakfast surprised us in a really nice way. Hot croissants smell really helped to wake up :)

I wish the rooms were a bit more soundproof. There was a tiny gap between the doorframe and the door, and that meant you could hear every little sound from the hallway. Also, I wasn't able to take a shower in the morning ( I don't know if the room was always busy, or just stuck - a sign on the door would be helpful to know when it's empty or busy).

Location was great. Breakfast as well. The place was clean.
