Excellent stop for the drive between Blonduos and Akureyri. Beautiful farm house overlooking the lake. Definition of peacefulness.

Breakfast is pretty basic with few selection of meat and eggs. Shared bathroom is adjacent to another guest room with loud toilet flushing so we are hesitant to use it at night.

Off the beaten trail and sits on a lake. Is part of an operating farm. Had the opportunity to talk to someone about how the farms operate. Full kitchen available for an evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. Could not ask for better services. On departure I left our coats on a bench by the door while putting on our shoes. Owner of the property mailed them to a hotel we were staying in later in the trip.

Very easy to find and the hosts met us and showed us to our room and various amenities. Beds were comfy and the common areas (a living room/dining room combo and a kitchen) were very helpful!

The location is amazingly beautiful. We also really enjoyed watching the sheep grazing outside our window.

Such a good hidden gem guesthouse, the room was spacious, the view was amazing, the waterpressure was on point and the kitchen was fully equipped. The guesthouse owners left us completely to our own after showing us the room, for tired travelllers this was super nice.

Just a few minutes off the ring road, on a pretty farm by a lake. We got a very nice and cosy room with a view of the lake and a lovely little church. Big bed and enough space. Bathroom is pretty large, there is additional toilet. Kitchen is rather for max two people cooking, but it had everything we needed. Very nice owner (and a cute cat!), some horses and sheeps to watch nearby

The staff (a young lady) is very friendly :). There is also a cute cat named "Cat" welcomed us. The room is big, beautiful and clean with a private bathroom. There is a beautiful church nearby. I had a good time here. I like here :)

The accommodations were great, everything was very new and clean. Full kitchen, a great shower and a location with a privileged view. Due to a delay on the way, we arrived outside of check-in hours, but we contacted using the Booking chat and they responded promptly that they could receive us outside of check-in hours.

The place is a little bit away from the ring road but therefore it is very calm. We had three comfortable spacious rooms, all with own bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the community room is very nice to meet with the group (or other travellers). Everything was clean.

Nothing particularly negative as long as expectations are set properly for guesthouse facilities. (No breakfast in off season, remote location so plan accordingly, no TV, shared kitchen and bathrooms.) Owners were available to greet us and provide short tour then never saw them again which was ok. Requested to leave shoes at entryway and shared the floor with 3 other rooms but everyone very considerate.

So peaceful, clean and communal. Enjoyed the interaction with other guests and the half bath option as a backup for full bath. Slept so deeply in comfortable beds and quietest surroundings I can recall EVER! Stayed 3 nights and northern lights on last night were a dream come true.

Bathroom facilities are basic and there is no TV. The heating was a bit too strong.

It feels like a hotel even though it is quite remote and only reachable via gravel roads. There is a main building where the "reception" is (just ring the bell) and a side building where there are about 6 rooms, a common room with tables and a kitchen with a large shared refrigerator. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. The hotel offers good views over the lake in a very quiet location that is ideal to reach route F35 from the north.

The wifi connection is a bit weak and mobile network reception isnt great as we are a bit remote. But it just meant we had more time spent admiring the incredible scenery and reading our books.

Spacious comfortable room and best private bathroom facilities of our entire 1 week trip. Communal kitchen was clean and well stocked with utensils. Beautiful outlook over the lake. Best stay we've had! Quick note: approx 5km of gravel road driving to the property but was very manageable with our 2wd.
