This hotel is so wonderful and so clean. It’s so new and everything is perfect. We had the hotel send us the codes to the door and we checked in at our own time. It’s really new and it’s really clean and modern. Like legit clean. Will definitely come back here and stay the entire trip if I’m not jumping between locations. 12/10. Booked on booking.com and it was really a value for money. Rooms There’s a balcony which you can walk to your car in under 5 steps. (First floor rooms only). Room is modern. There’s Netflix and a smart tv and a fridge too!!! It looks like a high class hotel. NGL. Nearby activities Theres a bonus near by 5km distance. The drive there is so easy. We’re near a ski resort too. Safety It feels very secure. Walkability Nobody walks in Iceland. Please drive. Food and drinks Buy from Bónus and store it in your fridge. There’s also a common fridge that looks very nice (like glass door nice). Theres also a microwave. Noteworthy details There’s a hot tub!!! And the place feels so nice. Don’t stay in the city just stay here and enjoy yourself!!! Edit: We got the see the strongest northern lights from the balcony (though out the trip).

The bathroom only had 3-in-1 soap which is okay but, for such a nice hotel it could be better.

The room was very spacious and modern, with a smart tv and a coffee machine. The build had shared kitchen and free washing and dryer as well as free ski equipment.

Nothing really. It was perfect for our one night stay, we would have liked to have stayed for longer!

It’s a very nice room in the perfect setting just outside of the town. The 5-7 min drive to get food in the evening was very convenient. Very comfortable bed, great to park our car right outside the terrace of our room. Shower was great, great little coffee machine and good to have a fridge. Really easy to check in and great to not have key/key cards as I always worry about losing them! Prompt and helpful communications from staff on the self check in process - makes life easier when you’ve been travelling all day and very tired, thank you!

Well organized self-check in. The room has a harmonious interior design and the beds are really cozy and comfy. Spacious bathroom and well located a bit outside of Akureyri, so that we could see the magical Aurora perfectly.

It was a really good experience! The room was comfortable and very accessible to the car. The location is wonderful. Its down the side of a mountain/ hill. I saw the northern lights from here on several occasions!

this depends on the room , but this time the pillows were not comfortable at all . i still think some rooms have better quality duvets covers then others or maybe im just used to sleep in very soft ones . cleaning was not done very well this time , there were some hairs in the bathroom and in the shower . but other then that good job from the housekeeping team

beautiful location … self check in super easy and simple! big smart tv . very spacious , with sofa and eating area , coffee machine and fridge . good shower , big bathroom . calm and quiet . will stay again !
