Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceWe have booked a room in this hotel but 2 days before the arrival, they sent us to tell that we should be in another hotel. The Fosshotel, the location of Fosshotel is amazing but the hotel is the worst that we have stayed in Iceland.
We did not stay there as they reallocated us in another hotel.

The location is nice, close to the center. Good restaurant next to hotel (I think it even belongs to the hotel). We had some trouble with the bed (actually the bed was really horrible) but it was promptly solved.

AustriaFriendly and helpful people, a great room in a great place next to the harbour with perfect views - not from our room unfortunately - over the bay. The en suite café (and museum) makes it even more special. The home made foccacia there could be a bit bigger (for the prize asked - as most of the food in Iceland) but was very delicious. A perfect place to head off to one of the famous whale watching tours in town. Regrettably I realized about the discount voucher offered too late ;)
