would have been nice to have more than just a microwave and kettle for the kitchenet. And the shower was warm but not rely hot, but these were very minor.

Hassle free check in with good instruction by mail. We stayed in the family room and it was huge, very comfortable and came with a view of the town and Kirkjufell. There was also a big communal balcony (good for spotting northern lights). Parking in front of the door. Supermarket next door and restaurants close by. Good spot for exploring Snaefellsnes.

We couldn't figure out how to turn off the bathroom light. It's on a motion sensor which is annoying if you need to get up in the middle of the night - the light totally ruins your night vision and disturbs a sleeping partner. It would be nice if the key had a key change/ring attached. We were worried about losing the key the entire time because it was just a loose key! Three chairs is too many for that size room, especially given that it's unlikely there would be more than two people staying in it.

The location is very convenient. We were able to walk to restaurants and loved the view east to the mountains. The room had plenty of space, too! Also really liked the computer in the common area with the forecast open. The balcony was promising but We didn't take advantage of it due to weather and darkness. Check in was very easy and communication from the host was good.

Perfect location, great room, great bathroom and lovely kitchenette. Enjoyed how small the property is, which meant no excessively noisy neighbours. My room was on the smaller size but it was booked as a single, so it was still larger than I expected it to be compared to other single rooms in Iceland. I've had doubles the same size as this single before!

During the night there has been a power outage in the whole city, and when we had electricity again, an alarm went off and made a recurrent noise at every 10 seconds. Besides this, everything was excellent

The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. There is a kitchenette in the room where you can prepare your own food. Also, we had a room with a view on Kirkjufell mountain, which was great.

If I had one minor niggle, it would be that the lights were too bright in the room and could benefit from a dimmer. Also, occasionally the automatic light in the bathroom would turn off while you were showering, leaving you in the dark till you opened the door.

We had a fantastic mountain view from a very spacious and clean room. Key was in the door, so no check-in hassles. Bathroom and kitchenette were well equipped. The location was fantastic for exploring the Snaefellsjokull National Park, which was of course also amazing.

The initial entrance to the property seems a little odd at first, but once you understand what's going on it's not a problem. Views of nearby Kirkjufell Mountain not quite as forthcoming from the room as I had hoped, but there is a shared balcony that offers a good view.

An unusual place, although not in a bad way. Essentially the ground floor is a collection of small businesses that occupy the old bank while on the first floor the bank offices have been converted into guest rooms. The room was huge and comfortable and whilst it was definitely not luxurious it was perfectly functional. I think this was the biggest bathroom we had during our holiday, although ironically the smallest shower.

I loved this place and will recommend this to my friends who will come to visit this area.

We liked the space this room provides. There is a dining area and the bathroom is huge, too. The kitchen is equipped well to cook a good meal for yourself. There is a supermarket very close by. Definitely recommended
