Price is high, but I guess it’s in line with the superior service as compared to other places we stayed in Iceland.

Beautiful view from the room and at breakfast, with a panoramic viewpoint of the lake. Excellent location just on the highway, well suited to travel to all the highlights in and near Mývatn. Very comfortable room with good bed linen and bathrobes and toiletries.

The room we had was small and looked out at the back of the building which was old cars and a house.

The property is small and sits on the edge of the land with views to the North Atlantic—if it isn’t bad weather. There is a small outdoor seating area if the weather is nice. Also able to access the walking path to Arnastapi here. Restaurant is on site and had nice choices for dinner and a beautiful breakfast buffet.

The location is just stunning. This was my second time staying there, and I just love it. Also, both of my stays the staff there is incredible. I will definitely be back!

The room was super small and it didn't have a refrigerator. I assumed it would so I didn't double check when booking it. But when you do the ring road, most people have food from the grocery store they bring along. A refrigerator would have been convenient. It was rather warm for the area and the room itself was hot, no fans, but we did open the window which helped a lot to cool the place down. The only problem is that you can hear people on the balcony talking. We had an especially chatty neighbor that was yelling his conversation! The walls are super thin and you can hear them having a conversation in their room as well. Also, we like to take a walk in the evening, and there was a path to walk about, but nothing interesting to see. I wish we booked something in Arnarstapi as there's a beautiful cliff path and you see so many birds nesting along the cliffs. It's a gorgeous site!! Super beautiful walk along the cliffs and you see the ocean and hear the waves, just gorgeous.

The lock to our door didn't work quite right,. Staff was very responsive in fixing but even after they fixed it it sill didn't work right.

Too expensive. For that price I would expect higher standard of the rooms. Apart of the hotel lobby, the experience was pretty basic. Some furniture parts for expample were a little damaged on its surface. We have slept in much better hotels or guesthouses during our roadtrip around the Iceland and those were much cheaper. It could has breakfast included at least.

The hotel lobby at the reception looks amazing, very cozy, beautiful sea view, nice place to have a rest and enjoy the moment.
