United KingdomWhen we arrived, there was not another human on site. We were given self check-in instructions via email, but the reception building was closed. We parked where we hoped we were supposed to, found our room behind a plain white door (looked like a service door). The room itself was very large, but very empty and had the feeling of a conference room converted into a bedroom. The TV had no channels at all, so was completely useless - disappointing to our child who was looking forward to seeing some before bed, after a long day on the road from Egilsstaðir. The wifi strength was very poor, so much so my Pixel 7 Pro kept dropping a connection saying it was too weak to stay connected. We were also looking forward to making use of the hot tubs, which are advertised so prominently on the Glacier World website. Unfortunately these were not close to Glacier World, and were approx 1km down a dirt road. When we arrived we found half the tubs were empty (as in, no water) and those which were in use were absolutely full of people. No idea if these were other guests or locals, some seemed to be speaking Icelandic. Anyway, there was no room for us, so my wife and 4 year old daughter had to give up and return to our room, without even the TV to watch as consolation. Later more guests showed up, shouting loudly to one another, banging doors through the night, clearly drinking and when we left our room to get something room our car we found two rooms had their doors open, with partially dressed men loudly partying between them. If we had had a reception onsite, we might have done something, but as the reception was shut and locked we just locked our door and let them get on with it... without even a TV to drown our the noise. It was a poor night's sleep and we didn't get anything from most of the advertised amenities of the property (hot tubs, TV, wifi). It felt like a real waste of money and I definitely cannot recommend staying here based on our poor experience.
Very good pre-arrival communication, lots of messages asking if we had any special requirements (we didn't). The view from our room was stunning - straight across a field of Icelandic ponies to the glacier. Breakfast was basic but good and our stomachs were satisfied when we left.

GermanyBathroom was very small, shower cabin sealing was broken so the floor got wet, very uncomfy. No shower gel and only two hooks for 4 towels!? No tea in the room, only coffee. Breakfast had not a very large selection.
Bed was good, Location was very nice, view from the room and breakfast room was quite nice right to the glacier.

SwitzerlandThe Breakfast was widely ridiculous, running out every 5' of basics as butter, or bread; extremely simple, serving as a buffet 1 o 2 tomatoes for 15 guest ish, and so on with the rest of the very scarce option. It looks they are looking to save the bill as much as they can, really unexpected situation, and a bit uncomfortable. The staff at the breakfast seemed some stressed, and no way they smiled, not even by chance. The room size was ok, but the bathroom came with the sink broken, while we haven't be aware of it, so another thing which look as normal, as the head shower (broken too), and many other bits ... Get to the breakfast room, requieres go out, turn the corner on outdoor, as there is no way indoor for it. 6km away of the main road, 1 hour away of the glacier. Not recommended, sorry guys. And does not worth the value for the price we have paid (despite de Icelandic standard), compared with other accommodations of similar features and prices along all our road trip across Iceland. The poor breakfast on the middle of nowhere is simply unacceptable, on top of all.
The room's views were fine. The guy at the check in did it acceptably.

United StatesThe beds were on the harder side than I prefer. The one thing I didn’t like was the TV was older and no Netflix. They had about 4 channels and no matter how many times I changed the language it never changed to English.
The view was beautiful. The hotel is about 20 min away from Hofn. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom and shower were very nice and roomy. Complimentary breakfast with a variety of meats, some fruit, bread and jams, and coffee was nice. There are a few hot tubs which was very nice. They do have roll down shades but it still wasn’t really dark.

IsraelWe arrived at about 4 pm and the door was close with a number on the door to call - as a tourist we had only sim with internet access and coudn't make local calls - so not very tourist friendly. The room was set up for one - I specifed we are a couple on our honey moon. After I brought it to their attantion they've set it up as a twin bed :( had to set it up as queen on my own. Breakfast very basic.
