The hostel is super cozy and welcoming, it's very clean and there's everything you need. The manager of the hostel is very friendly and helpful, easy going and a pleasure to talk to. I loved the fact that they give great importance to recycling. This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed.

Super kind and friendly hostess, lots of environmentaly friendly practices implemented, very clean, good kitchen and spacious sitting area. Great location in tiny, lovely Husavik.

The welcome staff, Anita, went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to have a wonderful stay. She showed me around with a proper check-in tour (which some places are very lazy with with self check-in), and even chatted with me to tell me all about Husavik and great spots to visit. As well, when I was feeling run down from traveling and had stomach issues, the owner directed me to the pharmacy. They knew all the opening and closing times of places which changed depending on the season. The hostel itself was very clean and cozy. The dorm room was comfortable and all the guests who came thru were friendly. The common area upstairs was also very comfortable. They even had a clothes line outside I was able to use for my wet towel and clothes.

We missed having a sink in our rooms like some other hostels did. The bunk beds were also pretty low so you couldn't sit on the bottom bunk.

The hosts here were exceptionally kind, giving us recommendations and advice. They were the nicest by far of our whole trip. The building itself is very homey and cute, and Husavik was one of our favorite towns to visit on our whole 15-day trip. We loved how easy it was to walk everywhere from the hostel. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Incredibly neat, clean and relaxing. I had very good sleep. I felt like a real home! The hosts are so nice, and their own map was really helpful. You should hike up to the hill. Never ever miss the lake. Just ask the hosts!

I booked an overnight stay for my nephew. The host was very nice and informed me that my nephew had arrived safely. I am very grateful for this attention! The accommodation is perfectly located, very clean. The view is beautiful. Late arrivals are also very well organized. Very good communication with the host! Very good value for money. Very early checkout at 10. Even in private rooms no bath towels (you can 'request' them somehow, but who would notice before needing them). Not cheap for a hostel type place.

Good simple room, comfy common areas with a good kitchen etc. Helpful owner/staff.
