Brilliant spot to explore the attractions in the south of Iceland. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Was an easy check-in and they even left a book full of instructions on how to do things in the guesthouse and recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic view. It was nice to have cooking facilities as we had been eating out a lot. You need a car to stay here, the drive to Vik was short. Communication via email was good and the stay was easy.

Despite booking the place for the view (the surroundings were lovely) our view was interrupted pretty much the whole time by upto 5 vehicles (inc farm vehicles) in front of our windows in the parking area from the hosts. This was pretty disappointing as one of the selling points (and I'm sure the price!) was the view. Also, the pool shown on the advertising images are not part of the property but a public pool a short drive away - whilst the description says no pool it was somewhat misleading.

The room was a decent size and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. It was clean and check in/out was easy. Good instructions were sent in advance. It was queit and you could not hear anything from adjacent properties. We didn't meet anyone actually, but someone did clear the steps in the morning after a stormy night. It is a great distance from Vik for a shop/eateries and also some of the other sites. Just off the main ring road but no noise.

Nothing significant. Some people may want a TV which the cottages didn’t have, but I was fine without it!

Excellent location just out of Vik. Cottage was clean, had good amenities and the view was spectacular. It was wet and windy during my stay for two days, but that’s Vik in winter so it was a great experience. Self check-in and out was also very handy due to the hour I arrived.

The coffee machine wasn’t working. The kitchen was a bit small. So if you decide cooking more it’s not best suited. There is no deduction either so it can get really smelly.

There was nothing we did not like except having to say goodbye.

The location was perfect place to stay for day trips along the southern coast of Iceland. The view from the room as spectacular and the night sky with the northern lights was breathtaking. It was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed seeing the horses on the farm and we have some great pictures with my wife and one of the horses. Having a kitchenette in the room was golden. Allowed us to save money on food eating out which is expensive. Could not have been more perfect for us. Such a lovely place to stay. We did not want to leave.
