The rooms on the front of the hotel face the street where there are some restaurants. One in them turned into a nightclub with loud dance music and intoxicated patrons hanging in front of the entrance yelling and shouting until about 4am. Even with earplugs in I couldn’t sleep. It’s sad because the hotel is basic but cute. However I couldn’t stay again as that amount of noise is too disruptive to enjoy a stay.

Mattress was uncomfortable after second night. Housekeeping attempted to enter our room after we checked into our room and were napping. They were very polite though and left immediately when they saw us.

Included early breakfast was nice, included Wifi, and great location! Easy check in and check out process! Hotel was simple and fit our needs for two nights. We didn't hear other guests from our room which was nice.

We didn't realize the window was open and could hear people at the bar across the street. Would have closed the window but didn't realize since we arrived at 2a.m.

The room was small, but we were put into a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. A nice view of water and Reykjavik in the background.

Location very convenient from Keflavik International Airport and the Blue Lagoon. Staff was fabulous-we just arrived from a long flight and a long soak from the Blue Lagoon and we were tired! We were warmly greeted and helped immediately by very friendly employees. We also found out Jodie Foster stayed at the hotel while filming True Detective…Very cool! Free parking, delicious breakfast. Our host even called her friend the next morning to open his souvenir shop early so we could look at wool sweaters and blankets.

Did not know that we could only use the shuttle once. Dropped our rental car at the airport, took the shuttle but had to pay for a cab to the airport in the morning.

This is a clean, comfortable, friendly, simple hotel. The staff, especially the woman at the desk (Brydis?) was a warm, helpful, delightful person. Breakfast had several choices of lunch meats, yogurt, cereal, bread, fruit, coffee, tea, and more.

Breakfast was nothing special.

It was quite close for a quick dtive to the airport. The street side was not pretty but the back had a great view of the ocean. The room was new , comfortable and spacious. There were good restaurants nearby.

The man that greeted us when we arrived barley even looked at us (just handed us our room card and walked away). Maybe due to language barrier? staff that took over in the morning were very lovely and staff I spoke to over the phone also great. Breakfast was very basic.

Room was nice and airport shuttle was great. Staff were very accommodating when I needed a package delivered. Nice if you need a place close to the airport!

super friendly and very hard working owners who genuinely wanted to please. large rooms which are functional and clean. a little old fashioned but amazing value for money. couple of nice restaurants. plenty of takeaways and a bar in close walking distance. right on sea front (which is very quiet as is really just a working fishing town) and few mins from airport. they gave us a lift to the airport at 5am. much appreciated and even got up to make sure the transfer went smoothly.
