United KingdomLisa was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly helpful and made our stay extra special. We had a brief stay here as it was just to cover a night stopover but even in that short time, it was a lovely experience! The room was very comfortable, really clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. There's a 24 hour shop a couple of min walk away, a bar opposite (we didn't hear any noise from it) and plenty of food places and shops nearby. Fully recommend staying here.

FranceEverything.The room was hugely expensive for what was like a cell. Not a single picture on the wall. White walls, a single flat pillow and quilt, no bathroom amenities at all. Not even a bar of soap. A clogged sink that quickly spilled over. Had to wait a long time for it to drain. One bath towel for two people!!!! Not a warm enough quilt on the bed. Hugely expensive breakfast--we decided to go out after our experience of the hotel. For the cost of the hotel, it was a big disappointment, our only disappointment in three weeks in Iceland.
The staff was very kind. The location was close to the airport.

FinlandHotel Keilir had the most wonderfull host meeting us at the reception. She arranged our transport to the airport earlier than the hours listed on booking.com and was super nice to talk with. We didn't get to taste the breakfast because our early check-out, but the room met our expectations perfectly. It was clean, comfy and had enough room even with two big suitcases laying around. Beds were also comfortable, linen was fresh and clean and there were small tables with lambs on both sides on the bed, also space for charging phone from the socket. We had beautifull view towards the ocean, which gave us a special memory of super moon and the northern lights during the night. The room had a heater that made adjusting temperature very easy.

FranceThe attitude of the staff and misleading description on booking.com. We booked this room specifically because it claimed to have a 24 hour reception and a check out time of 12 noon. We arrived late and left again immediately to watch the Northern Lights. When we returned around 5am, the doors were locked and we only had a key card for our room which did not open the outside doors. Nobody informed us that this could happen and so we ended up knocking on the windows until somebody came to let us back in. We believed we had until 12 noon to check out but at 10h48 two members of cleaning staff hammered on our door and insisted that we had to check out of our room in 12 minutes. We told them that it clearly states 12 noon on the booking.com app and reservation confirmation, but they insisted we leave immediately and unceremoniously dumped us out of our room. We didn't even have the chance to shower. We went down to reception to ask for the additional hour/complain/check out but simply ended up standing in line behind three other people at an empty reception desk, waiting for somebody to arrive and deal with us. Nobody ever arrived and so after twenty minutes or half an hour we just left. I had read some mediocre reviews of this property before booking but I assumed it would be fine for one night. Am sorry I didn't heed their warnings. The room itself was fine, but the staff and service (and lack thereof) were ridiculous. It simply is not worth the money (and it is Iceland after all, so it wasn't exactly cheap..).

Hotel is situated in downtown Keflavik with a great view of the bay. Best feature was you could see the northern lights from your bed!

Location and staff were amazing. It was a great option for us since we had a really early flight the following morning. The room was very comfortable and had a beautiful ocean view. The lady at the reception was so kind to arrange the airport transfer for us even though it was outside the normal schedule. Walking distance from very good local restaurants.
