The only thing that was missing for me was the bar/ restaurant. This was listed on the website but was being renovated and so was out of action during my stay.

My room was a large double room and was very homely and comfortable. I had a view out to the ocean which was lovely. The staff at the hostel were friendly and knowledgeable and bathroom and kitchen facilities were good and spacious. I really loved the theming of the hostel! Every room and walkway had quirky knick knacks that gave the place a lot of personality. The hostel felt close to everything and was always easy to find due to its proximity to the water.

The hostel is very close to downtown and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff were very helpful and let me use their phone for a local call. And allowed me to change my rooms. The place was very clean and quiet for a hostel.

Everything related to the hostel was great. The only downside was the amount of constructions around it and on the hostel. But I understand that it is temporary, and when finished will be amazing. Nothing bad to say regarding the hostel or its staff.

The only suggestion I would make is regarding the limited availability of charging sockets in our room. It would have been more convenient if USB Type-C ports had been provided near the bed instead of the standard EU sockets.

The kitchen had all the amenities. The best things I loved were the cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance of the hostel. Everything was fantastic!

There is construction going on underneath the building which makes it very loud, lots of drilling at times which is annoying.

Good location right by the water, much more affordable option than other places in Reykjavik, nice staff and facilities.

Honestly, I don't really stay in hostels anymore. I like my privacy too much. But this place might've changed my mind again. I don't know how they achieve it, but everyone was super quiet and respectful of others. Something I rarely saw elsewhere in the past. Great experience.
