The hostel was 5 minutes away walking from every tourist attraction (Hallgrímskirkja church, Harpa, ...) and 2 minutes away from the bus stop which was really practical to go around and to go to excursions. The hostel was clean and the staff was nice. The hostel has a nice bar and offers several activities for its guests like board game night, movie night with popcorn, meet and mingle for solo travellers. The hostel also has a full equiped kitchen for its guests to use and cook.

The bed was comfy enough but nothing special. I was in a top bunk and there was some pretty heavy dust on the headboard.

The hostel was close enough to walk to from the airport bus. It’s right in the tourist strip so there’s plenty of shopping and good food around. Checking in was easy and the facility is tidy. Just be sure to rent your towel before reception is closed.

This is a popular hostel so the fridge was super stuffed, you could barely fit a bottle of cola in there if you arrived late.

Great location. Loved that there's an elevator and self check-in door code, so the whole process was very efficient. There's a bar upstairs with live music shows, but you'd barely hear it in the room which I apprieciate. Lot's of shelves and coat racks, also ample space to open up our suitcases.

I was only there one night, so wasn't able to report that the bathroom light switch was broken and it was stuck on, the bathroom door also didn't fully close so that light shone directly at my bed at night - it was managable with a eyemask if other dorm members were good at keeping the door to.

Great location, friendly staff, nice social area and seems like there are lots of events on if you're a solo traveller who wants to meet people. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Simple check in and out. Spacious dorm room

My favourite hostel in Reykjavik. In the very heart of downtown, very cozy, single and mingle hour with free drink from the house, movie day, concert day and so on and so forth. Love u, guys!!!!

The location was brilliant, right in the heart of Reykjavik. Very easy to find the hostel and very easy to check in by ourselves with the codes. We have a double private room with an en-suite, we have been backpacking so are used to hostels but the private room was great with some privacy for our short trip to Reykjavik

The kitchen space feels a bit cramped when everyone is getting ready to leave in the morning. There was a mix up with someone else's name starting with a J who was placed in my bed. It was quickly resolved but it was annoying to arrive back and find someone in my bed. Also, i didn't realise that towels are not included. That could be more clear.

I was worried I might have to wait to use the bathroom but there were never any issues.

The location of this hostel is the best part, the cleanliness and friendly nature of the staff is an icing on the top. The bathrooms were also well maintained. The cafe is the place to hang around and mix with other travelers.

I prefer dorm beds that have curtains, which these do not have, to close off to reduce light and sound while sleeping and overall privacy. A couple travelers brought their own light blankets to put up as a block. That being said it was not a big issue for me and my room mates were polite and respectful.

The process for the stay was seamless as I was informed of the bed location and entry codes before arrival. The staff were very helpful and the facilities are very nice, in particular the common room which was great for socializing with other travelers. I completely enjoyed my stay.

The cleanliness of the bathroom and shower wasn’t as good as expected and, since the bathroom is located inside the room there was too much noise.

Not knowing you have to make up your own bed was a bit of a disappointment upon arrival after a long travel day. There were some yellow stains on the bedding as well + no trash can in the rooms; only 4 outside to recycle everything (which is a good thing). On the last morning I woke up with an eye nerve infection and lost 50% of my sight which means !!! I have to return to Iceland to see more of the stunning nature and beautiful sights. Pro tip if you havent seen the northern lights: book an evening flight and you will catch the lights from above. I will definitely stay here again and can recommend it highly to everyone 😍

I absolutely loved my stay here. The reviews regarding the noise made me a bit skeptic but am very happy I did not change accommodation. You receive a message with all the codes prior to arrival which means you can check in without passing by the reception (4th floor, elevator available). The code is your personal key which unlocks the front door, the door to access your floor and the room. Despite the reception not being 24/7, it feels safe. The room is spacious and has a bathroom inside the room + only one in the hallway. The shower is great; good water pressure and temperature. No towels included. The location is perfect; right in the city center and walkable from the busstation (airport) and easy to reach the meeting point for day tours. The noise at night? I was on the third floor and did not hear anything over the weekend. A snoring roommate is louder than any outdoor noise, even for light sleepers. The staff is spontaneous and support Palestine 🇵🇸❤️

Great location and the rooms/bathrooms were cleaned daily, also the room was large enough and it didn't feel crowded. The kitchen is a nice social space and has a well organised fridge.
