I really liked the common area. It has games, an area to relax. The kitchen has all the cookware and applicants that is needed. And the fact they have a separate area for "free food" in the common kitchen, that's a nice touch.

Cleanup could be better, random paper here and there, as well as in Headboard 'puka'. Really the fault of prior customer leaving their trash but needs attention.

Simple check in, baggage storage as needed. The 'Loft' very comfortable place to just chill. Great people, QUIET and respectful people in my dorm. Beds good, Linen's clean. Location is the reason I chose this place and did not fail. Everything within reasonable walking distance. 'En-suite' Bathroom and shower, then one in outer hall as well.

For the summer time - please put better curtains! The ones that they had now allow the light to come in so the sleep is not ideal ( during summer in Iceland is always light, never dark during the night). And is a bit noisy. A bit too much (from outside the room)- i survived with good ear plugs!

Comfy beds, enough space, toilet in the room. Upstairs there is the bar to have some fun. There is full equipped kitchen with a lot of food for free.. in the morning there is also a coffee! The position is amazing, right on the Main Street and near the bus stops for tours ( 3 and 6)

There was no one to help me check in my baggage at reception from 8am - 9am, despite saying they were open.

So.. the second time I got the 201 room, which has 7 beds inside even I didn’t see the seventh guest for the bed. But because of the design of this room, there is few distance between beds, so it’s a bit difficult to have your personal time and if your neighbor opened the light, it might be difficult for you to fall asleep. And please avoid the bed 2 because there is a very limited space there. Also, there is only one small bathroom for both toilet and bath so sometimes you need to wait.

I stayed here for two times. The first time I got the 206 room, which is big enough and there was enough distance between beds. There were two rooms, one is for bath and another one is for toilet, which is also very convenient. By the way, the location of this hostel is pretty good and convenient. It’s in the city center and only 2 mins walk from bus stop 6.

Curtains were not entirely covering the light and as it was 24x7 sun light difficult to sleep. Bunk beds are not very great in terms of if one person on upper bed moves than entire bed moves

It was quite accommodating and people living were really nice. It was clean and everyone took care of each other space.

The one I feel not comfortable is I found one dry contact lenses on the bedside.

The location is the best. The staff is so nice as well. All the doors are using password locks. It’s so convenient that I don’t need to bring the key all day. Even there are almost 6 people in one room but I didn’t need to wait for bathroom. There is also a public one outside.

For a hostel I would say there is nothing I could fault.

Amazing location i walked everywhere from here. Staff were lovely, so easy to get in your room, I felt safe here, the rooms were decent sized and well set out. I would definitely stay here again.

The street can be loud, I was told I cannot have the lower bunk bed but the room was almost empty, the light doesn't turn off in the bathroom

The position of the bunk bed was not comfortable. There was a concreate bar above the top bunk, which made it difficult to sit up and therefore wasn't very comfortable to sit or wake up as it hits your head when you wake up or lie down.

The behaviour of the staff and the facilities were very nice.

I wish there were privacy curtains on each bed, and the street is a bit loud, so I’d recommend ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones

As big as they are they could be a little bit more flexible with they cancelation policies. When I booked there was only a non-refundable option for the room. So obviously they where absolutely in their right not to give my any refund. As wether is complex on the island I had to cancel my booking and for the manager there was no way of at least give me a little % of refund. It's not the worst thing, just a little bit sad. I have seen smaller hotels with more flexibility.

Easy access. Very good logistics. Rooms and common areas have a nice and friendly design. Staff working at reception is friendly.
