There is a bar opposite the hostel and people party and shout outside until late, but that personally didn't affect me. After all, the hostel is in central Reykjavik!

Great location - very close to the Hallgrimskirkya and Rainbow street. Very easy to get to other pick-up locations, e.g. Bus Stop 12, by taking the street right in front of the hostel. Great value for money and hygiene. Very straightforward and pragmatic check-in/out system - no need to find a receptionist, which is suitable if you arrive late. There is a bar on the top floor and it can be useful premises to meet people. I would definitely choose this hostel again if I were to return to Reykjavik.

Incredible service from the staff here. I was in an awkward situation and they spent the time to reaccomodate me in difficult circumstances. It’s always tidy. It’s cosy. It has cool events on. I felt very safe and even at home on this stay. Best hostel in Reykjavík, definitely recommend booking while it’s available.

The fact that the cafe and bar area were open to the public the whole time the communal area is open. Would have enjoyed a bit more seperate on between the two or different opening times

I loved its location. It was right in the middle of everything in town. The staff were very friendly. They have little activities nights which I thought was super cute.

A great hostel. Allover it was a lovely, well maintained and great place to stay. Mostly clean except for some small things. Staff friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and theres a lot of food thats freely available.

No towels in the room and the beds not made. One comforters was not clean and this would have been noticed if staff made up the beds.

This was an economical way to stay in the center of Reykjavik for a 22 hr layover.

It's not so much that I didn't like as it is just a small suggestion for future if and when the hostel is revamping... If it were possible to add curtains to every bunk bed (I have stayed in some hostels with such a setup) then people would get a bit more of privacy PLUS if one roommate has their bed side light on the others are not disturbed by it.

The lounge with all the books and board game options, the kitchen, the central location. Bus stop 6 is actually closer than bus stop 3 for pickup/drop-off. Most of the staff are friendly and they organise fun events for hostellers. The bed was cosy and even though I visited in winter I felt the blanket was too warm because the hostel's inside temperature was already soothing warm. I wish I had planned a more relaxed trip so that I could have explored their events, books, and board game collections. The location is fantastic (at least during the weekdays, which is when I was visiting, I did not have the issue with loud noises). No hassle of carrying a key or keycard.

I was expecting some simple toiletries in the private room with a private shower. Luckily the communal bathroom had a shelf where I could grab some shampoo and body wash.

Convenient location, close to the bus stop. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Luggage storage was easy. Great social/bar area which included couches. Well stocked communal kitchen.

The bar's opening time could be longer. After 23 the only place to hang out with people was small kitchen.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of downtown. Room and kitchen were clean and beds were comfortable. The design of the beds with electric plug and light was very good. The staff was friendly. Using the keycode for opening doors were very handy, no need to worry about losing keys or late check in.

-breakfast wasn't included in price. -washable sofa and chair covers would keep furniture more clean and stain-free. -everything else was good to go!

-location was perfect. Easy to get to from the bus stops off of main street Laekjargata in the city center. -clean hostel, bathroom tile needs a deep scrub, but the facilities are clean -comfortable, warm beds -staff very helpful/friendly and fellow travelers were super engaging -permitted earlier checkin once room was cleaned -separate toilet and shower -several restaurants and bus stops close by
