Very convenient location, room is small and too expensive charged by booking.com, book direct is much cheaper.

Checking in at 10 at night to a top bunk where I have to make my own bed while 4 roommates are asleep. Had to put on bedsheet, duvetcover and pillowsheet myself. Linen was not clean, it may have been washed but it had big spots on it and should be thrown out. The little storage room by the bed was disgusting with old boogers, old nails, used chewing gum and used snus in it. The shared bathroom didn’t seem like it had been cleaned for a while either. In general it didn’t seem like cleanliness was a priority at all. Breakfast was really simple with some cereal and bread but still cost over 2000 isk.

Cool bar, which is accessible to public so don't stay here for that. There are way cheaper hostels in the area so consider that.

The windows opened over a blocked train so the smell was terrible. And all the noise from the other rooms was bouncing down the lightwell so we could hear other guests all night. We had to keep the windows closed which meant the room became really hot and uncomfortable. Also the acoustic separation from the corridor was very poor, so everyone who walked past our door we heard the doors opening, their steps and their conversations. And the smell from the drains in the bathroom was also very unpleasant.

the room was cold due to the window latch being broken you could feel the winter wind blasting through the window, as I was on the bed closest to the window I could really feel the wind coming through. When I looked at the window it was all rotten and wet so obviously was leaking in too.

not much happening in terms of activities. Although it was unfortunate but someone was vandalising and breaking the entrance around 2 am one night. I was about to enter the property but due to the risks involved I stayed on the other side of the road. No security showed up even though there were cameras. The unfortunate event went on for 10-15 mins . the glass was broken and it was a safety hazard to get into property

Its said it arranged bus services to the airport and was at the corner of the flybus to the airport which was not true. It was a 15 minute walk to the BSI and didn't offer the service they offered on the website. The lockers to save valuables were mostly out of order.

The wifi did not reach our room. I had to stand by the door to get 1 bar of wifi. I even went upstairs to see if I'd get a stronger connection, but I think they decrease the wifi after hours.

The rooms were very nice, and the beds had a little place to put your electronics while they charge. Good location and nice common area/patio. The guest kitchen was also nice with its own patio.

I was the only one to arrive in my room and the bathroom was dirty with hairs and other bits. Otherwise the rooms were fine and beds were comfortable

The rooms are absolutely not quiet. The music and noise in the hall keep you up all night. Even with ear plugs, the music shakes the floor. It’s a party hostel if you want to or not. Breakfast didn’t serve any fruit. The fact that you have to make your own bed and the dirt and crumbs in the private light boxes, the messy bathroom make me doubt the cleanliness of the room. No safety measures either in social spaces. The room gets very warm and humid as well.

Housekeeping took all our stuff from the room and partly dumped it, so that we had to recover some of our items from the wast bin. Beds were not made, we had to put the linen and sheets on which can be ok but when paying 210 euro for a night then it is totally out of balance what you get for your money. Windows were not cleaned.

There were no clean sheets on my bed when I arrived. It was already 10:30pm so I didn’t want to go down to reception to find out where they were - luckily I had brought a pillow case with me which I was able to use, but I had to sleep on the bed with no sheets. The room was extremely hot and the curtain didn’t cover the window properly to keep the light out, so it was very hard to sleep. The kitchen was very small and not very tidy. It was very expensive for what it was.

location is central but the noise at night time is unbearable. music in the street is very loud. bathrooms cleanliness was very poor. no towels provided for people staying at dorms. you have to pay for it. the fact you have to do your own bed is very inconvenient specially if you arrive late at night into a dorm full of sleeping people.

Lack of cleanliness. The hostel needs refreshment. The bathrooms were quite dirty, even when you just checked in. Also, the wall in the kitchen (the one around the balcony doors) was coming off. Additionally, I booked a mixed dorm bed but I was the only woman with five men. It didn't feel right, especially since one of them was much older. I didn't feel fully comfortable in the room. I think for mixed dorms, they should mix guests as much as possible. Last but not least, there's no really any area to hang out once the reception is closed as they also close the common space. So after 11 pm, if you want to socialize with other guests, you need to do it outside of the hostel or in the corridors.

Location. The hostel is located in the centre and you can walk from there to any important point of the city, such as bus stops for tours or harbour. Also, there are many great restaurants around as well as grocery stores. Staff. People who work there are really nice and helpful. They do their best to accommodate guests' requests.
