Surroundings very overgrown and weedy , no actual garden ! Kitchenette area very small , a microwave and toaster would have been good . Track to cottage (via car) needs a mow .

Lovely little place! They upgraded us on arrival to a new suite, so that was great. We weren’t there when the cafe was open though so can’t comment on that. Great location to explore the east.

Add the email address and phone number of owner in order to put in a reservation for breakfast and dinner. We were away early morning so could. It just stop by after 10a.

I think that the furnishing and appliances/facilities were beautiful but not practical. You notice things like no outlet near the bed, the cables from the kettle and espresso do not reach the outlets.

Staff was lovely, nice welcome, food made us feel healthy. Very good bathroom, unique design. Hidden gem location, the trails south of the farm are phenomenal.

This was so amazing. The location is a dream if you have a car with you, so beautiful and quiet but 15 min from a big city. The food they have is magnificent and mostly produced by them, the rooms are small (as advertised) but very nice. They use their own wood, which makes the rooms look so cute. They had a problem which caused our room to only be ready on the second day, they called us in advance, arranged an alternative (bigger) room on their property in stead for the first night, and offered free breakfast as a compensation. The owners and staff are amazing. Very friendly, very accommodating.

Nothing - expected a friendly dog roaming about… none appeared

So charming. Loved the short walk thru the “forest” to the charming cottage. Felt so relaxed and peaceful. Almost silent - quiet you don’t usually expect on a farm. It was well appointed and comfortable.

Kitchen could do with a few more things - toaster, a chopping board and a collandar would have made our meals a bit easier but it has enough to make things work really.

Cute little cottage all to yourself in the middle of nowhere really. Lovely place to stay to really get away from it all, it's on a working farm but in a quiet corner surrounded by trees. Kitchenette is cute and a bit small but (just about) everything you really need. Some of the farm product left on racks to use which always a great addition. Very homely, old world feel to the place. Owners were great - first guests of the season so a couple of things weren't working right after winter but no trouble to sort.

It was just the minimal counter space, while cooking we had trouble having enough room to do everything we wanted at the same time but it wasn't the biggest deal as we just boiled water in the kettle after we were done using the electric stove-top.

This was our favorite stay while we were in Iceland. When we booked we didn't have many reviews to go off of. When we got there it exceeded our expectations. The staff was accommodating, our room didn't have knives to cut with and our host provided them right away. We had no trouble using anything, everything was clean. We even saw the northern lights from right where we parked the car. I will say the best part was the heated floors in the bathroom! Again I could not say enough amazing things about this place.

Our room is not pictured and is nothing like what was pictured- It was older, with a teeny tiny bedroom and teeny tiny bathroom, unnecessarily large kitchen area. Our bed was the least comfortable of all of our 10 Iceland hotel/guesthouse stays- not as firm.

Beautiful new accommodation in a wooden house. Every little detail is perfectly arranged. Loved walking around the farm and the forest. So quiet and peaceful. Recommend the Vök Baths nearby.

The staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! They even bake the bread there and make the pancakes from barley that they grow. They have the sweetest cat named Nelson, and all the people who are working in the greenhouses clearly love what they do. It was just an amazing, wonderful place and I highly recommend it!

It was adorable and quite comfortable. We were able to relax on a private porch. There were basic pots, dishes, flatware and glassware. A hot plate was in the cabin that allowed us to make coffee. A lovely breakfast basket is available to purchase.

What a beautiful farm to have the opp to stay on! It was incredibly lovely and peaceful, the staff and owners were so kind and generous with their time in chatting with us (even though they were working), and the grounds were gorgeous - we loved exploring the greenhouses - and the cafe - and food - was a delight. On our last day we did the lovely Monster Walk through the woods, which gave off fairy tale vibes, and met some some friendly and affectionate horses along the way (they were very sweet if not a little demanding for pets and nuzzles :)). We def want to return!

No one there to check us in. Accommodation did not have view. Very cramped room for 2 people. Staff didn’t seem Aware of guests. Reserved dinner but then told not available later in evening. No food available (breakfast/lunch/dinner). Lots of construction going on.

The setting is beautiful. We love the farming that they are practicing and we enjoyed walking around the property to see what was growing and to meet some friendly horses. We loved the breakfast we ordered for our first morning and we really enjoyed lunch at the cafe on the day we left.

We booked for two nights and wished we could have stayed much longer. This place is a true gem! The host was very kind, professional and gave us plenty of local tips, wonderful! The cabin was incredibly cosy, surrounded by beautiful woods and incredible organic food from the farm. The location is perfectly situated to visit East Fjords of Iceland. We were on a road trip for our honeymoon and stayed across multiple accommodations, this was by far our favourite.
