One of the most welcoming Hostels we have stayed in anywhere in the world. Lucia, the staff member who checked us in was brilliant and we loved the welcoming atmosphere she and the other staff created. The hostel was spotlessly clean and well maintained, the facilities were excellent and the option to have a basic evening meal at a very reasonable price (for Iceland) was great. The breakfast that came as part of the deal was also excellent, buffet style with lots of options available, with plenty to eat. We really liked the welcome complimentary Coffee and Cake that was offered too, such a nice touch. We were so happy to be returning a few nights later on our return back to Reykjavik. Outstanding in all respects. Thank you for a great stay.

Sometimes had to wait for the shared bathroom to be available.

The room was spacious and clean. The room we got had a shared bathroom. There were only 2 bathroom that can be used for the guests and at times the washroom was always occupied in the upper floors. Otherwise the washroom was kept clean and dry. We had dinner and breakfast there, which was good. Location is convenient near the highway. Free coffee and teas available.

What's not to like about this guesthouse! The host is amazing and shared rooms are also big enough to not feel claustrophobic. The property is right on the ring road. It is near Seljalandafoss and Skogafoss on the other side.

Amazing location, nice house, very friendly staff and a very good room. I liked the atmosphere and the people who run the place. A great plus was the delicious pizza which can be ordered. All in all a very nice stay in a lovely place with great people. Thank you!

There's only one toilet and shower on the first floor. This was never an issue as there are more toilets and showers downstairs but in case relevant to you.

The welcome cake, free coffee and tea, beds were comfy. Really good location for sejlandafoss waterfall and exploring that area of the country. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Nice little common area.

For the first time in my life I slept in dormitory with multiple person and I had an f idiot(some kid) on bed under me that was constantly moving and making noise. To add, in dormitory there is a constant subtle noise of ventilation...don't sleep in bed that is next by the door.

The wifi got disconnected on my wife's phone and on my phone after around 11 P.M. We aren't sure if there's a cut off time for WiFi or if it was a temporary glitch.

Set right in front of a waterfall this place is located where you need to be on the South coast of Iceland. Great staff who ensures that you feel right at home. The culture of this place is very welcoming. Even though we were in a shared accommodation, we felt comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to ensure you're happy with your stay!

The outdoor gathering spaces were sparse or otherwise not so inviting.

Joyous staff. Clean and spacious dorms, showers, and WCs. Coffee machine was very convenient. Indoor gathering spaces were welcoming and comfortable. The lamb soup dinner was amazing.

Everything met out standard for a hostel. We had to wait to check in until the approved time but that was clearly communicated to us and worked well.

Loved the location. The staff were very friendly and the facility was well kept. Enjoyed the option for games and pizza in the common area.
