The place is very clean and cosy. The workers are very very nice. It’s a great place to spend time with your family and the location is perfect. The waterfall under the house is wonderful. My mom was amazed. I really recommend this place! 😊😊😊

We had an amazing stay. Super clean room and every common area. The friendliest staff. Tasty breakfast, they offer coffee all day long. It's located at an amazing spot, we walked around the area before leaving, and found some hiden gems. Strongly recommend it.

    Nothing—everything exceeded our expectations!

If you’re traveling through the South Coast, Paradise Cave Hostel is the place to stay! The location is convenient, the rooms are cozy, the common spaces are charming, and the food is delicious. Also, Lucia was an amazing host! Just all around friendly, personable, accommodating, and attentive to the guests. Looking forward to the next trip back here, 10/10 recommend!

The entrance, driving up the parking, is mesmerising. The whole place is sound. Nice people, good atmosphere, delicious soup and a quite night of sleep. One of the best hostels we met on our trip around Iceland. - take your morning shower under the waterfall a little bit further up the road.

    That I didn’t stay for more :)

A mesmerizing setting, the silhouette of an island in front of you, a waterfall in the backyard! Hostel in the middle of a region packed with natural wonders. Warm welcome, perfect lodging, clean, well organized and maintained. Cheerful and enthusiastic staff who make a difference! And make sure you go for the lamb soup served for dinner, it’s awesome 😀

Our door kept banging the hinges every time someone opened a different door on the floor. Also, the smell from the guest kitchen infiltrated to our room.

The property was very cozy and friendly. The staff was 10+

    All was well :)

Excellent hostel, friendly check in and intro to the facilities. Communal area with games and drinks. Welcome cake and possibility to eat dinner (excellent lamb soup and good pizza). We were very happy with our quiet room. Shared bathroom was a bit old but clean, with a good shower. There are more than enough toilets as well and the place has a welcoming feel. Seljalandfoss is around the corner; 10mins from Vestmannaeyer ferry and its own 'private' waterfall in the backyard. Breakfast was ok with hot drinks, juices, toast (no bread), jams, skyr, cheese and ham. This was well worth the stay, we were very satisfied.

The heating was a bit too high for me, but it's nothing an open window can't fix. I would also add a bigger pillow, but again, it's a hostel, so it's not that big of a deal.

This was the first time I chose to stay in a hostel and I have to say, it was a great experience ! The location is just gorgeous, there's a few waterfalls in the back of the building, it's a clean hostel, easy to find, quick to check in, the staff is very nice and helpfull ! Breakfast was nothing fancy, but just enough. I didn't focus on the food either way, I ate as fast as possible to be able to get on the road and explore the island :D

The room is way too small with zero compartment or furniture. Guests are mainly travelers and hikers with bags and stuffs , the rooms are not worth the price at all. Need to fight for toilets and shower but it’s part of the game in a guesthouse

Location, Nice staff, great lamb soup and for a good price, clean place, good breakfast

    - i really recommend to use hypoallergic pillow, blanket, as i had bad sinus allergic after being there, (i am allergic to many things), it is very important and should be considered - breakfast was very poor, i rate it 3 out of 10, i suggest more types - they assigned bed for you before you came, i dont like this. - dining area is in hallway in second floor, but it is understandable due to space of place.

    - staff was friendly - clean with many shower and bathroom - coffee included in booking:) - very beautiful place with nice view - comfortab bed - despite there is many bed in one place (which i dont like) still it was well organized to feel there is space -there is nice kitchen in second floor, but will close at 9pm :(

The hostel was far too hot and there was only the tiniest window to open that was so small it had no effect on the room temperature. Upstairs sink and shower cubicle drains were almost blocked.

Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Easy to find.

The dorms are located right next to the main area and they play music until 10pm. There was a couple that shared a bed on the bunk under me- That should not be allowed, especially with how many beds are in that room (12). The showers were a bit gross too so I did not use them.

Place was reasonably priced. Location was convenient. Dinner was a great price and very good.

Wifi was not working; the whole place smelled like cooked cauliflower; the WC was not just shared but some distance from the room; the shower was even farther (and required that one must walk through the dining room); the no-shoes policy within their rights, but hard wooden floors and barefoot through the common areas are murder on 70-year-old feet.

    Nothing

Bed was very uncomfortable. Not much room for socialising and relaxing, just a dining room. Would be great to offer more/different food options. Would be awesome to get privacy curtains on the beds.

The staff were fantastic! The shower facilities were kept really clean, in large bathrooms. The rooms were large with lots of space.

The kitchen is in the upper level, but the dining room downstairs it is not easy since we need to be up and down with food and clutery. Also, the showers are behind the dining room, so we need to be caring our clothes and towels while passing by people eating or chilling

The breakfast was very good. The instalations for the dinning room was super cool. To have a waterfall behind was awesome.
