This was a delightful hotel. We loved the space and that we were able to play games together in the evening. We really liked the pool and hot tubs too. Great breakfast, friendly staff and super location - we loved the fact that the supermarket was over the road and the food hall. We also enjoyed exploring the town and walking up to the geysers. Overall incredible and we will certainly recommend to friends and family.

It gets very busy and the guests can be very noisy especially after 10pm.

Family rooms were a brilliant size and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice addition too.

Hotel staff at front desk was excellent. Portuguese gentlemen was very helpful and had great personality. Cleaning staff were very helpful in separating double to two twins.

Rooms in the main section feel a little older than the side section however it seems like they’re in the process of renovating. Room however was lovely on the whole and the bed was very comfortable.

Fantastic location, love facilities included an amazing heated pool and hot tub with a great food hall across the road. Staff were superb with the option for Northern Light wake up calls.

The hotel was amazing. Especially for the price we paid! Great location, good food. We felt very welcomed. The employees were happy to answer all of our questions, and you can tell they like their job. I would definitely come back!

We booked a room for 2 adults and a child, the room had a sofa bed available but then charged us extra for bedding for the 3 nights. When speaking to staff they said that children up to age 11 should Be able to sleep in bed with parents. During this time the room was never cleaned and the beds not made up. I know the policy was to not clean until requested, but we did request on our 2nd to last day at 8:30 am but wasn’t done. Also the bathroom door didn’t lock, not a huge problem but instead of it being fixed, there was a permanent sign printed on the door saying about the door wasn’t made correctly. Seems a bit lazy from the original installation.

Very expensive even for iceland, and a bit too money focused set prices for early / late check in. Hot tubs not at the advertised temperature, but maybe because there was a snowstorm all morning. A bit run down for the kind ofbresortbit clearly once was.

Bed not very comfortable and two single duvets provided instead of one double/king size. During breakfast for a number of days ketchup was missing and some croissants as well. Two days there wasn’t any soap down at the swimming pool.

Great hot tub and swimming pool that we were able to use at the end of December. Towels provided in the pool area, so very nice that you don’t have to bring your own. Breakfast is very substantial with nice choice of food and drinks. If you are renting a car, location is amazing as you are in the nature and not in a busy city. The Hver restaurant food was absolutely divine, everything that we tried was fine dining level.

Everything was top class. The breakfast was spectacular, the room was spacious and lovely and our absolute favorite was the outdoor warm pools and sauna. The staff is also very friendly and we're always very helpful.
