Water pressure is very weak and the doors all have old fashioned keys which can be a pain. Bathrooms don't have great ventilation.

Beautiful location, less expensive by half than any other place around, amazing views of stars and aurora on clear nights, easy to get to from main road.

I would add another table as with multiple guests there's not enough space to eat, but we tbh made it work anyway.

Great location, the kitchen had mostly everything one might need in a few days, the spaces were clean and comfy. Our room was the smaller one but was comfy enough and had everything one might need.

The gravel drive is very long, not an issue normally but the wind had created a snow drift which. Despite the fact we had a 4x4 (dacia duster) we got stuck in two snow drifts.

We saw the northern lights here. The room we had was roomy and comfortable (double bed which could be separated). Great communication following weather warnings and access to property. Very understanding owner.

I contacted the owner of the accommodation exclusively by e-mail. We did not meet, but the accommodation was as we expected based on what we saw on booking. Very satisfied with the accommodation, quiet, warm, comfortable.

Shower drain was clogged and that made a big pool of the bathroom. Would have been nice if there was more common space to meet other guests. Price is quite variable . If seen it for ~50 euro and for ~90 euro. For a single traveler 60 euro should be well paid.

Lovely big room with a good bed. Lots of space in the room and panoramic view. Kitchen well equipped and has a 4 chair dinner table. Location in just betwqeen Höfn and Jokulsarlon, 4km of the ringroad by an easy drivable gravel road.

Quite rusty, not enough stuff in the kitchen, no washing machine, a bit of dust in the rooms and common rooms, old architecture, quite small kitchen when all rooms are taken, very small rooms (not all of them)

One of the bathroom lights were using moving sensor, so when I was in the corner, the lights didn't sense me and it turn off in the middle of the night. That was really scary.

It's a superb place to see the aurora and we saw it!!! Nice big space with the warmer and hot shower that stays as it was. Love it !

The house is slightly dated and there's detector in the bathroom for light so when I was washing my long hair it went off and I finished showering in the darkness 😅

The location was magical with views of 2glaciers and a short drive to the trail head of the closest glacier. Tucked away on a dirt road great value for money. The property is dated but for the price well worth a visit.

This guesthouse has 5 rooms with different configurations. Our group of 4 had one room with big windows all around while the other room had a narrow window by the ceiling. The outdoor patio had beautiful views but was covered with sheep poop instead of outdoor furniture as depicted in pictures so sadly we couldn't use it

The building is close to the glacier, with a fantastic view on the valley, only a few km from the ringroad, along an unpaved road. The building is relatively old, but the interior is well-organized and clean. Kitchen not large but functional.
