The place is very central and clean. Parking possibility infornt of the hostel. Generally comfortable with possibilities of buying in the nearest supermarkets.

The plates in the Kitchen were not fonctionning everywhere. Generally, the kichtchen is crowded and very noisy. Many tourists never respected the rules.

The hostel accommodates quite many rooms which means there are a lot of guests in the building at the same time. The restrooms were enough to avoid simultaneous usage, but the public kitchen room was a bit of a mess. I saw some group of people not cleaning their dishes and pots after using them. And some other guests were talking too loud to make me feel this place is not a public one.\

Good location in the center of Selfoss. Public restrooms are clean and enough to avoid usage with other guests.

Kitchen was very nice and I liked that all the bathrooms and showers were individuals rather than just stalls in a larger room. No bunk beds added to a feeling of comfort and spaciousness.

We were a group of 11 and when we got there there was no place for cooking or sitting. I think it would need extra space for summer travellers.

Arrived evening time - contact free check-in which a little weird. Drains were partially blocked which meant I spent 30 minutes attempting to 'un-poop' the toilet within the first hour of getting there then wading after a shower. No staff were about to contact. Thankfully there was minimal smell. Appears there was a blockage somewhere which the staff were dealing with when we left the following morning.

Booked last minute (whilst sat eating pizza down the road) - so ability to do this was excellent. Kitchen well equipped and spacious. Beds were comfy. Only flying visit. Seemed quiet but guess depends on other guests ;-)

Excellent hostel with incredible facilities. The room was as it should be. There were plenty of bathrooms and toilets, all very clean and comfortable with all the facilities (towels, hairdryer etc). The kitchen was just great, fully equipped with everything and 2 large fridges. We cooked and enjoyed our meal in the kitchen. There was also a washing machine. There is free parking in front of the building. The hostel is a perfect stopover for any couple or family making a road trip in Southern Iceland.

Only a small locker for people sleeping in the dormitory, a storage room would be useful.

Great location, the organisation of the hostel was really nice, everything was clean in the bathrooms and the kitchen. The beds are also perfect !

A too noisy big group of young people from France.

Locality near the main road with the vicinity of bakeri (great cinnamon buns). Small but clean rooms. Well-equipped kitchen. Close to the Golden Circle and other attractions.

Selfoss is a great location to visit the Golden circle, Landmannalaugar and even Skógafoss. The hostel rooms are comfortable. The shared bathrooms and showers are clean, but could have more room to put your stuff. The shared kitchen is big enough, but the kitchenware could use an update. The hostel has some common couches but no bar

There was a smell of sewage in our room when we arrived. Some water in the sink in the room fixed the problem in some hours. One shower also had a bad sewage smell.

This place is perfect for families to stay. Lots of room in the sleeping rooms, plenty of toilets and a really nice big kitchen/eating area as well as living area to hang out. Really great location in a cute town with plenty of dining options if you want.

I felt a weird smell in the room but after airing it for a few minutes it went away.

The location and the facilities were great! Self check in works like a charm especially when you need to book unexpectedly,late in the night. I love the hidden dragons in the furniture and bathroom. Overall the hostel was a bit expensive but good value for the money.

The hotel overall is nice and clean, but the bathrooms down stairs were damp, smelly and out dated. The batrooms on the 1st floor were fine, clean and modern. The staff was nice and kind.

The kitchen was well equiped, the lounges were cosy and room was small but fine. Overall the Hotel was nice and quiet.

The common areas weren't very clean but they were still decent.

The room was very clean, I didn't find teh kitchen and the toilets very clean but it was still decent. The rooms are a great size and the bed is very comfortable. My room ahd a sink inside as well, which is very convenient.
