The room was so cute, comfortable, and cozy. Everything seemed new and very nice. I loved the little window reading nook seat. I liked that we had bath robes and slippers available as well. Breakfast was great and the hot tub and view were top notch. I loved it!

Nice hotel at the harbour, with a big hot tub overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The decor of the hotel is cozy but stylish. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk into the door. There is a nice bar and a comfy lounge overlooking the water. Sunna, the restaurant within the hotel serves fantastic food, probably the best we had in Iceland. While you're here, do visit the herring era museum, which is just across the road.

The breakfast is typical but not a stand-out and can be under attended when the tables are full. It would not take much to turn a so-so breakfast into something a bit more special.

This was our second stay, a year apart. Hotel Siglo is a delightful, friendly, attractive property that is staffed with considerate, friendly, and helpful staff. I'd recommend reserving a room on the second floor with full view of the fjord and the Siglufjörður working harbor. Always something to look at just outside your room window. It's a little hard to identify which room is which on Booking; best to write a note to the hotel to clarify the room type you are reserving. Town is small so everything is just a short walk away. On a nice day, a hike beginning just across the street to the waterfall is a perfect 1/2 day activity. Hike traverses the hillside and heads right then left to the waterfall.

At the evening dinner they were completly out of bread (strange for a hotel, considering that breakfast was about to be served in the morning to tens of guests) and when my husband said he would need some bread they simply said “We have no bread, sorry”.

The hotel has a great location right in the harbour. The rooms really great, supe clean and great furnishings. Also there is a hot pool and sauna outside and we spent some time there for a great relaxing hour. Breakfast was very nice.

Beautiful well appointed hotel with nice bar, beautiful dining and great thermal spa. Room was nicely decorated with pleasant window seat looking out a fishing boats and majestic mountains. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

What is there not to like in a place like this? We wish we could have stayed another night or two. I never asked if there was room service, however we both felt very pampered because of another room with twins together making our king size bed perfect for a restful night.

Location and view, it was absolutely beautiful. Hotel room was so nicely done, with very nice hangers and plenty of them as well, the same as bathroom, you felt you were in a first class hotel and pampered.
