This was one of our favorite places to stay in Iceland. I wish I had gotten the girls name that helped with breakfast, but she was amazing. The breakfast that is included was so good. The room was so comfortable and clean. It was really a large room. My kids loved all of the free hot chocolate from the machine in the hallway.

The location was fantastic. The waterfall was in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic.

This was our first hotel off the plane and we were exhausted, and we arrived earlier than expected. The staff accommodated a very early check in and we couldnt have been more grateful.

The upgrade for the waterfall view was well worth it! The staff were very friendly, the complimentary coffee machine was a very nice addition. Rooms were basic but functional and very convenient for the falls nearby. I would strongly recommend booking here!

An excellent hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. My room was bigger than I had expected and it had a great view over the Skógafoss waterfall. The breakfast is excellent, the restaurant is open almost all day and you can get a delicious lunch, dinner or a light meal there. In the hallway there are coffee machines, so that you can get a coffee, tea or hot chocolate anytime you want. Since I travelled by bus, it was also an advantage that the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The hotel has a luggage room, excellent WiFi and the staff is also friendly and helpful. I sincerely recommend this hotel.

The staff were so wonderful and accomodating. Very very clean. The room with the mountain view is always worth the upgrade. Restaurant meals are expensive but we had the lamb and it was huge! Well worth the price and we used it for a light lunch after the museum the next day. Couldn’t recommend enough

We stayed in four places in Iceland. This was the most expensive by a distance but the most basic with small rooms. The most frustrating thing was it’s quite noisy with a loud coffee machine in the hallway which guests use all night when trying to spot the lights. The room doors are code entry which beep for each button and the codes are quite obvious but there is no way of securing the door on the inside.

It was clean and in the location that we needed. Bar restaurant is nice but expensive.
