This place was really scary. We pulled up and three people were staring us down while smoking and sitting on their car. It turns out the desk manager was one of the three, he checked us in. He seemed maybe high? It was really smelly with the kind of fake air freshener that makes your nose hurt. He showed us to our room, came inside with us and showed us that you couldn’t turn the lock, but insisted it was locked on the outside. We didn’t believe him and decided to leave and stay literally anywhere else. Don’t book this place!

The staff hardly speaks English. I booked a room for my female friend, but they couldn't determine her gender from her name. Apparently, there are separate dorms for male and female guests and 8 bed dormitory is only for male guests which is not mentioned when you try to book a place. They also claimed that I booked it under my name, not hers, which is not true. Furthermore, when she returned late at night, she had to answer questions about whether she had been drinking and endured judgmental looks from a staff member. I would recommend avoiding this place; there are better options available at the same price.

It is in a good location and rooms are normal and clean. Bed was comfy. For a price you get everything you need, so there are no complains about it. Wi fi worked fine and connection was good.

Low hospitality, low standards of cleanliness, old building with broken windows, a storm blowing into the room all night. Showers gross and toilets even more gross. I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels and this was pretty bad in terms of my vast experience staying in places at this price range.

Stay here if you must for one night but wouldn’t recommend any longer than that. Hate leaving bad reviews but want people to know what they are getting into with this place.

The staff did not speak English and was not very polite. I waited a long time for accommodation, although I warned the Hostel about what time I would arrive. At 5 AM there was a quarrel in my room, because staff give the same bed to few different people.

Hostel is in perfect location if you coming by bus from Keflavik Airport, as well if you have excursion started from Bus Terminal. It's located in the local Mosque which made this place quite unique.

Dirty and laud. bad sound insulation.

Laud, and the sheets looked dirty the USP was the price. The crew was polite but a bid shady. It was a shady place. The place smell cleaning formula. It's not a place I would bring my family to but I could stay there alone. Ps. My girl friend say she would not sleep there alone, and that all people are different. She said about the place that it is a roof over the head and they have toilets.

The owner was friendly and I think he try to makes his best but during the night was impossible to sleep. During the whole night people were talking and walking on the building and going out to smoke(the door sounds really loud every time you open it during the night) and until 1-2 in the morning there were people making steps(like running) on top of our apartment. If you want something cheap could be a good option but if you really want to rest maybe is not a good idea.

Strange place. No towels, no shelves to keep your clothes or any belongings. Smells like rotten egs, probably due to the water. Men staring at you in the common space. We had double room and I was quite ok, but I do not imagine staing there in dormitory

ALARM!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! LOUD, DIRTY AND DISTURBING !!! - In the rooms you can hear everything, even people coughing in the lounge area. - a very strange guy who didnt speak english gave us the key - The hostel is a mosk at the same time. Random people were going in and out all the time. - From 9 to 11 pm the muslims in the mosk on the floor above were singing non-stop and dancing or stomping. The stomping ended around midnight. - The „lounge“ area was like a living room for the owners. Kids were playing football there. At 2 am the owner played loud turkish music, even though he knew that we have to leave at 6am the next morning and even when the owner knocked at our door to ask if everything is alright when we spoke a bit louder than ususal. there was clearly no privacy at all. - The toilets, sinks and showers are disgusting, hair is everywhere and urin stains on the toilet seats and the floor. - The whole area, but especially the bathrooms are very stinky. - the room was dirty and ugly. The window didnt close fully so it gets cold quickly. The blindings werent closing fully either.

Too expensive for what it is. Noisy at night, screaming children, kitchen so dirty you don't want to use anything, showers better but still not good enough. Only two toilets for the whole hostel.

Walking distance to the centre centre. The owner let us check in earlier, that was nice.

All in all our expectations for this Hostel where not met in any point. To start with, the booking.com website does not mention in any point that this place is not a hostel but a mosque. Furthermore, when we cancelled our stay there, the "Hostel" was not willing to refund us at least a part of the staying costs.

*** THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR TOURIST PEOPLE *** I couldn't sleep good one night, people all day screaming in foreign language in their phone, the place is full of elder people snoring day and night. DAY AND NIGHT, CRAZY, THE WORST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Everything. This is not a typical hostel. It rather is a mosque above and some rooms below. The lounge area is always with old men playing loud videos on their phone. In my 4 night stay, I haven’t seen a single woman in this hostel. Definitely not a place to meet travellers. The twin room was such a pity with two beds just thrown there and a small window in the corner. It also had a bad smell. Also, the facilities are very unclean with men hair and pee stains everywhere.

Very clean rooms and beds. The blanket and pillows were freshly washed. Each room has a fridge, so you can store all the stuff from the supermarket to Avoid buying expensive food outside to stay on budget. The hosts are very nice people. Hostel is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible toilet.
