The guesthouse met all of our needs. It was great to have a kitchen. The other couple that was staying there at the same time was very friendly. It rained the whole time we were there, so we didn't check out any beaches.

Separate bathroom outside the bedroom - ideally a door in the middle separating the kitchen and bathroom&bedroom area would have given more privacy, this was unexpected to have it separate and cumbersome to keep locking and unlocking bathroom. Better seating is needed in the foyer, cumbersome to have to move shoes in the small area on a stool, and nowhere to hang up jackets. Pricing changes quite a bit, the room was 1/3rd cheaper suddenly post booking, so feels unfair to have paid so much higher rates.

The smooth check-in despite no staff. Good amenities - parking, the high utility kitchen, spacious bathroom with a view, good bed linen, and the lovely living area.

Comfortable guesthouse in the small town of Sudavik. Stayed only one night, but would be a comfortable base to explore the area. Didn't meet any staff, but got good communication from hosts while traveling on the way. Close to Arctic fox center.

the interior and facilities feel a bit old/basic compared to what I'm used to; the rooms need better soundproofing because you can hear everything that goes on in the living room; I didn't realize in fact it's just one of the rooms that I am renting and that I have to share a public living room area with others (if I paid more attention I wouldn't have booked this because I need privacy); indoor slippers were provided due to no-shoe policy but it didn't feel hygienic to wear them; Since there is no ventilation or hood, it smells in the whole room if you cook a warm meal with meat/fish

The room was a bit tiny. Though the rest of the property itself is big enough. For one night it was ok. Price is very high, actually it was the highest price for accommodation on our whole trip. But this area is more expensive as a whole I guess, food was also more expensive in this area than everywhere else.

We couldn't figure out how the heater worked. This was not a huge problem, as it wasn't all that chilly. Had we insisted on changing the temperature, we could've asked the hosts. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The host. They gave us amazing tips for a hike, on which we got to see a wild arctic fox. This was all thanks to the advice of Stephanie. We had the entire house to ourselves, which was amazing. You get a nice place to stay, with great cooking facilities.

I am a regular-sized person, and I found the bed to be somewhat uncomfortable. The beds may not be good for a large individual.

It was fun to stay in a mid-century modern, Scandinavian-style home. The location was beautiful, and the home had excellent views of the fjord and mountainous cliffs. Sudavik is close to Isfafjördur and outdoor activities. We utilized the kitchen for all meals, and we relaxed in the lovely living room. We saved money by preparing our own meals. The house was thoughtfully decorated, and the host left clear signage, regarding house rules and features. It was a great launching pad for our cycling adventures.

The room was of a good size for three people. The kitchen was very well equipped. It had a comfortable living area. They provided good travel tips - especially the advice to visit the unmissable Bolafjall viewpoint.

The kitchen was very well-provided. Finding a Moccamaster coffeemaker (the gold standard!) was a treat. The bedding and bed were very comfortable. Host Stephanie was pleasant and helpful.
