wonderful structure, well furnished and equipped with all the services. large and spacious kitchen. rooms a little small to keep the luggage of all the guests, but overall beautiful and the beds are very comfortable! I recommend!

The location of the hotel was superb. It’s only short distance to Vik and the black sand beach. The central kitchen was spacious and equipped with every equipment I required for cooking. However, it was very crowded in the evening. The room was good, but it took me some time to lock the door due to unfamiliar locking method. One major drawback was that the heater in the room could not provide enough power to heat the entire room, including the bathroom, so it’s very cold during showering, especially when the ventilation fas was turned on. The sink was also too small, compared to the bathroom size.

Felt just like a hotel! Rooms with a private bathroom are really just like a hotel! The room was spacious comfortable and modern with a fridge and walk in shower. The main building has a great vibe and plenty kitchen space! It's 5 min drive from the black beaches and 10 mins from Vik. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was overall amazing! The rooms are brand new, modern and luxurious. The kitchen facilities in the hostel were great for cooking small and big meals.

-The shared kit was probably the highlight. A large area, with 4 stoves and multiple burners; 4 (mini) refrigerators and multiple sinks, and several tables. It allows for a cozy gathering, cooking and sharing experience. -Overall the hostel is very clean (rooms, showers, toilets, reception, kitchen). -We took private rooms and the beds were extremely comfortable, a reward after a long day of activity.

Nothing. Maybe the kitchen was too small for that many people. We had to wait for a chance to cook and for a table

Loved the property. Staff were kind. Was well equipped. Was a little expensive for an 8 person dorm but I think Iceland is generally expensive. We got to see the northern lights. The staff let us know when we were in the dining hall. That was nice of them

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Great value for money, comfortable beds with good linens, very warm and clean. The kitchen in well-equipped, and there are delicious complimentary drinks at the reception. Excellent location. Highly recommend!

The hallways of the rooms in the second floor are too noisy when people opens or closes the doors.

The only thing I would improve is the lugagge space in the shared rooms. There is not much, and that is a bit uncomfortable if it is full.

the literal ONLY downside was not being able to control the heat. it was sooooo hot to sleep in, but that’s not really a problem haha

We booked the double bed dorm room which it was our first time. Just not get use to it really.

I like all the facilities the bathrooms are clean and sufficient. The fully equipped kitchen is incredible. The location is great we managed to see aurora from the parking lot. Recommend

Cleanliness, comfort, kindness of staff, beautiful place and location. New clean towels everyday. Showers were amazing! Good spot, beautiful views, close to the black beach and isolated enough to spot the northern lights! Kitchen was spacious and fully equipped. Lively yet quiet place! And they also offer some flavoured water for guests to enjoy :) Good value for money, Favourite place!

Ceiling for the bed I got (top) was slanted, very hard to keep curtain up. Shower was lukewarm.

No restaurant on site and miles from anywhere which means you need to drive to dinner, eat reheated fast food at the bar or self cater (which is inconvenient if you’re not in the main hostel building). Rooms in the main building (shared bathroom) are noisy. Rooms with en suite bathroom could really do with some glasses to drink water etc from.

Very pleaaant place to stay - individual rooms has a designer feel, clearly a lot of money spent on fixtures and fittings. Black beach suite rooms with own bathroom were v comfortable and had kettles and coffee machine, and fantastic views. Bar in the main building was welcoming and had a nice feel to chill for a bit.

Second time staying here we love it. Facilities are top notch lovely decor nice and quiet but not too far from supermarkets and bars. We’ll definitely be back

Of course, as it’s a hostel, it’s a gamble with sharing the room…we were a bit unlucky to be in a room with some chatting people and one person specifically was snoring so loud that woke us up! We even asked to change rooms, but fortunately the guy had left after first night.

The installation is very nice, clean and organized, it feels like you’re in a fancy spa.
