Communication was quick and simple, and we were able to check in early. Rooms are basic but adequate. There is a kitchenette with refrigerator you can access, so can self cater. There is a supermarket not far away, and a couple of cafes/restaurants too (we didn't utilise). Breakfast is in a lovely big dining room, and quite okay with numerous options, Access to tea and coffee throughout the day. Parking right outside is free and convenient.

The location was a bit further out than we anticipated but the hotel is whisper quiet with a great aspect. The shower is in the corner of a very small bathroom and shower curtain, meaning the water generally splashes everything else in the bathroom. Only facilities in the room are two glasses and a hairdryer, so very limited.

The hotel is good value with functional rooms and a fantastic view across the water. Although there are no extras in the room, there is a shared kitchenette area for each floor, including a fridge and microwave. The location is very quiet and a short walk to the nearest (only) restaurant in the town, the Bait Shack, which appears to be owned by the same company. A discount voucher was provided for dinner. The buffet breakfast was adequate and what one might expect from a education facility.

Poor attention to the guests. There is way too much plastic such as linoleum floors, fake plastic plants and flowers, plastic light fixtures and plastic soap dispensers.

Breakfast was plentiful but the cooked breakfast was not kept warm.

The view from our window was absolutely stunning! The room was comfortable and clean and there was a little kitchen that you could make your own drinks at (bring your own supplies though). Some people may be unhappy that there were no TVs in the rooms - but who needs it with that view...!

Place was vacant other than the few rooms now at the end of season. They will close it tomorrow for school year.

The breakfast was ok but not great. It was kind of strange, as they use it as a dormitory during school season. Was ok, check in lady was awesome, had to call her but she was there in 90 seconds. The hike to Easter Cave and beyond is very nice, not hard but a good beautiful walk.

old facility with old and broken shower faucets, the room itself was quite cozy but the bathrooms need some serious updates. it was not enjoyable to have to shower here.

I chose this location as the eastern most hotel in Iceland. Its quirky and i found out the reason from the manager - its a part time hotel (also used for boarding school pupils in term time). i had a lovely view and in some respects its basic but there's someting about the layout and ambience i realy liked.

There were workers on the roof hammering and making noices from 8-17 and they had a wooden platform in front of our window. The facilities are a little bit tired and cold

We did not like to wake up when workers start to fix the roof early saturday morning. Some of us got bit while sleeping. The eggs in breakfast looked like they have been boigjt inn the party shop, and like they were made from rubber. Some of the guests were cooking very spicy meal close to our rooms and the smell were still on tje corrodoor and also in our rooms the morning after.
