wifi fell through at times, it was super necessary, as we visite beginning of June, however in winter, it could be potential problem. the heating units in each cabin were on and off, the staff were very nice and helpful and came over to look and help fix in person, and explained that at night there are power outages and certain system resets.

characteristics of the cabin, nice decor, all beds in Iceland seem the same this is a good thing, all were very comfortable. all the essentials were there, free coffee, tea, hot chocolate were especially nice. restaurant available breakfast 2000isk per person, we didnt have any as we left early next morn. available for dinner, good option to have on site.

We stayed in the cottage, it is really lovely and very clean. It's possible to dine in the restaurant, we ate really good fish at a fair price. At any time, in the main building, you can have free access to hot drinks. Nice common relaxation room.

Although the location is not right next to road 1, it is a good starting point for all directions of travel. Easy to find on country site. Great look to volcanos mountains and lake. Room was enought comfortable such as shower. Perfect beds. Very clean. In the main hous you can enyouj in daily room in domestic atmosphere. The dinning room is big enought for many guests with comfortable sitting area. Breakfast is very tastefool with lokal food. Boy at the front fesk is so nice and he can solve all your embarrassments. Employees are very well harmonized and attentive. One of them prepare perfect sheep steak. They really take care of well - being of guests. Thanks all of them.

Everything was great there!

The room was beautiful, we stayed in the top apartment which had great views and the bathroom was really modern and nice.

I took a room with shared bathroom but unfortunately on the evening we arrived there was just one bathroom open for 6 rooms... On the morning the second one was open and it was better.

The environment is really relaxing. The room was nice. The breakfast was really good.

we were told that coffee, tea and water would be available but when we checked out in the morning the reception area was locked. please remember that people may leave early in the morning and they would like a cup of coffee!

I know it’s stated in the description, but it would be nice to have WiFi access in the actual rooms, not just the common areas.

The rooms were pretty small and some improvements may be required.

It was great that you feel that you are basically in the middle of nowhere. The place got darts, pool, other games.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower cabin was super small and a bit unstable. The walls were rather thin and we could hear other guests/they could hear us. The place looked quite different from the advertisement photos - smaller and not that "polished" as on the photos.

The place is close to the Golden circle and relatively close to Reykjavik. The staff was super kind and friendly. The bed was very comfy and spacious. The room was warm (heating was on).

Nice common room with darts, pools and couches. Despite we didn't choose to have breakfast there, they offered us coffee and tea in the morning.

The room was a bit small, we didn't really have a proper wardrobe for our clothes, but the small drawer and the chair in our room were OK for us. The room was freshly built/renovated, and it was really clean.

I wish the bathroom was a little bigger. The shower kept leaking water into the bathroom and I know to keep the curtains within the white frame but it was quite hard since the space was small. Otherwise, it was very nice!!!

Loved the view of our cottage house. It was so beautiful at night and in the morning and I loved the privacy of the room!

Loved the staff here! They were so friendly and so caring. We had checked in a little later than we wanted to and they still greeted us with kindness. We told the gal we were leaving the next morning at 7am but the guesthouse coffee area was only opened at 8, so she gave us some instant coffee and a kettle so that we can make our own in our room! I loved it here and the room was so clean!!!
