The shower is bit strange without a movable head. Dinner is expensive. The bungalows have no view of he lake, they are in the shrubs on the other side of the road.

The room is comfortable. Breakfast is good.

Service at the Cow Shed cafe was a bit hit or miss, but the food was good and the overall experience a lot of fun. The room was reasonably priced, but not super economical.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The cabins were cute and comfortable and the whole area was beautiful with many interesting sights and experiences. Would definitely love a return visit.

Location on the lake, view of sheep grazing while having a delicious dinner, excellent restaurant for dinner ( lamb shank and arctic char were fabulous) and breakfast, being able to pet the cows in the cow shed, excellent staff and cozy rooms. The little gift shop has nicely curated items.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! The staff were so kind, helped make a reservation for the restaurant on site (that also had many gf food options), AND you got to pet the cows ! Would stay again !

We wished the rooms had screens on the windows so we could open them for fresh air without the flies coming into our room.

The room was large and had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. The included breakfast had good options.

The adjustment of the heater can be a bit tricky. (It's very strong). But it's not a big problem at all

The restaurant is a must-try! Everything is so fresh and flavorful! ( And the view from the restaurant is very relaxing) We had both dinner and breakfast there. And they are both amazing. They also have cows that you can pet/feed.

This was a cute little cottage. It is a bit older so the bathroom was not as modern as we would have liked, but very functional. The farm has a fantastic restaurant and provides an amazing breakfast. The area (Myvatn) was not our favourite, but thankful we stayed at the farm which helped our stay.

Rooms were very warm and there are a lot of bugs in the area so it was hard to keep the windows open

Loved the little cabins. Very clean and good location. We really enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the included breakfast in the morning. It was cool to see the cows being milked and you can go into the barn to see them closer.

Nothing - I love this place!

This is my favorite place in Iceland. A working farm with a lovely hotel and fabulous restaurant. The cows are friendly, the staff is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. It's right in the middle of the Myvatn area, close to everything (lake, lava fields, hiking, etc.)

There were parking bays immediately in front of our chalet so if we sat outside we had a car slap bang in front of us. Be aware of flies - it’s a working farm after all. But present in May so imagine it’s worse in summer months. It meant we didn’t want to leave our window open, so the room was quite stuffy. A fan might be helpful

Beautiful farm stay the cabins are located across the road from main house . Plenty of parking. Cabins are very warm quaint clean and have a kettle . Lovely hot shower. Very good buffet breakfast.

The audibility in the rooms is absolute, it seems that the walls are made of paper, although everything seems to be made of wood. The breakfasts are poor; since this is a farm, they could have more variety; there is not a single porridge, scrambled eggs, or omelet.

A very atmospheric place, a real farm, amazingly beautiful animals, clean. There are good thermal baths very close.

The farmhouse is a beautiful accommodation. The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is lovely with its view (on the landscape and the cows!), and the food (mostly homemade with farm products) was delicious! I highly recommend.
