The apartament was perfect! There was a coffee machine and a kettle for making tea. The bed was extremely comfortable, with the ergonomic pillows. Also, the room had radiator so it was warm inside. The staff was very helpful and kind, they advised me how to go back to Bari (there is a FAL train that does not pop up on the internet) and what to see in Matera. Also, the breakfast was nice, and for the dinner, there is a pizza place just next to the Agli Archi :)

The location was not easy to find, and there was no free parking available in the area, but paid parking was available.

Pasquale was swift and helpful by explaining (by video) how to get free parking. He also gave me tips about what to see in the Sasso nearby, and tourist tips. Breakfast was nice, with fantastic coffee and at a table with village view. Location is in the middle of Sasso Barisano, some stairs down from parking. This is a pro and con at the same time. Firstly you feel fully immersed in the atmosphere of the Sasso, but then it also takes a tiny effort to get there. The room had 3 heaters, one of which is aircon.

This was the perfect place to stay in Matera, right in the Sassi. Michel was a wonderful host. We drove to Matera and parked where Michel had recommended. He had offered to come and pick us up, but we decided to walk about 10 minutes to the accomodation. Michel was looking out for us on our arrival. The room was spacious, cool, clean and quiet, and the bed was so comfortable. Thoroughly recommended!

Amazing location, clean room & bathroom. The host, Michele, picked us up from the bus station & helped us to the train station & finding trains which was so kind. He had lots of great recommendations for everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

Even with the air conditioning on its highest setting, the room was quite warm. There is also no fan in the bathroom so it was very warm and moist after using the shower.

The room was reasonably large and fit our family of four. The bathroom was very large and the shower was very good. The proprietor, Michele, picked us up from the parking area and also dropped us off at the end of our stay. The location was excellent. We were provided with free bottled water in a small fridge, which was appreciated due to the hot weather. Michele also provided recommendations on where to eat and what to see.

The owner is very nice. When we took the bus to Matera, we didn’t know how to get to the hotel. It was a big holiday for Italians, the owner couldn’t find a taxi for us. He sent his wife to drive us there without charge. He also helped me carry my heavy and huge luggage all around. He is such a nice person. I definitely recommend everyone staying in his hotel.

Everything was perfect!

Amazing location in the heart of Sasso Caveoso, our room was very big, comfortable, quiet and equipped with everything. Michele the owner is incredibly kind and friendly, he came to collect us with his car at the parking and even drove us back. Great value for money, definitely recommending!
