How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Great location as just a five-minute walk from the airport. Very clear instructions on how to get there and how to inform the hosts prior to your arrival. The B&B itself was ideal for an overnight stay before heading further to another Tuscan destination. The accommodation had everything we needed so would recommend this to anyone with a late arrival or early departure at Pisa airport.

It’s a little dated, nothing fancy but that was fine for one night where we just needed to rest.
This was everything we needed for a quick overnight stop off in Pisa - clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic location (5 min walk from the airport) and breakfast included. The hosts were friendly and welcoming; helping us with taxis and recommendations in Pisa. This saved us an expensive night in a hotel and the value for money is great.

I knew when booking that bathroom was shared so nothing I can complain about. But in the future a private bathroom would be a massive improvement.
Location is excellent if you have an early flight to catch or arrive very late. Its a 5 min walk from the terminal. No taxi needed.

Breakfast serving area a little tight with other guests trying to get breakfast.

Lots of communication from the property with directions and contact details. The B&B is very close to the airport (easy walking distance) but very quiet. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and provided lots of good info for visiting Pisa. Accommodation is standard B&B level with shared bathrooms, but is very clean and comfortable. A simple but good buffet breakfast is provided. The PisaMover monorail station is just round the corner (halfway back to Airport), which will take you to and from the Pisa train station in 10 mins (5 euros per person each way) - is open from early in morning through to midnight. Shuttle every 15 mins, and more frequent at peak times.

Extremely friendly welcome from the owners and explained rules and amenities very clearly. It was spotless ly clean and an absolutely wonderful choice for breakfast. The bonus is the walk to airport is literally 5 minutes. This was the main reason we chose it to stay overnight as our flight was at 6 a.m. They even accommodated us by allowing us to enter the breakfast room at a much earlier time than stated. I highly recommend this lovely wee b&b. You really won't find anything better so near to the airport. And the owners are lovely and so friendly.

The table in the bedroom was a little bit small so hard to fit things for four people on there. But it really didn’t matter that much!
Lots of choice for the breakfast. Bathrooms were very clean and nice.

We booked Ai 4 elementi for a layover, the BnB is in a very convenient location, 5min walk from the airport, easy to reach even with our big luggage. The host kindly provided detailed instructions to get there and waited for our late arrival (we sent a message ahead to notify our flight's 3h delay) We had a great night of sleep in the spacious and comfortable Earth room. There are two shared bathrooms, both very clean and with hot showers. In the morning we enjoyed the typical Italian breakfast with coffee and a sweet treat.There was plenty of choice including flavored yogurts, breakfast cereals, cookies, madelaines and marble cake.

Great location when arriving into Pisa airport. Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late but once we communicated the delays, we were still able to check in after making the 5 minute walk from Arrivals. The room was spacious, had air conditioning and a fan. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the bus to the train station is very close.
