United KingdomStaff on breakfast time was rude. There is also only ONE hot drink allowed during breakfast. Bed was very uncomfortable and was making noise which we couldn’t sleep whole night. You could also hear even small noises from the corridor and even from another room toilet! The breakfast is served in another building!

Portugalwe only stayed one night, the location is a bit far from the train station and main center but is closer to the castle.
The person who checked us in was very warm. They also gave us a welcome drink when we arrived. The room was spacious and the beds were pretty comfortable. They had Ac in the room and heating in the bathroom as well.

Czech RepublicWe have a room above the restaurant, where was playing the loud music till the midnight and next day there was a karaoke. Everything was perfect except this noise during the night. As I was there with my kids so it wasn't a very pleasant.

PolandDuring my stay I wrote down the biggest complaints I had. If You are ok with every single point on this list then feel free to book Your stay here. 1. Unfathomable odor coming from the bathroom at all times 2. Takes around 10minutes for the toilet to stop making noises after flushing 3. Terrible condition of the shower, I reckon it's rust combined with the dirt and grime 4. No ventilation in the bathroom 5. Window has no blinds or curtains, instead wooden sliding doors are present(highly impractical to close if it's raining outside because you first need to open the window) 6. There are dumpsters under the window, the aroma is not pleasant 7. Not a single free electrical outlet is present in the bedroom so in order to charge your phone it is necessary to unplug the tv or lamp 8. Terrible sound isolation, can hear every word of the neighbors. Moreover, the noises from the pizzeria underneath are also audible throught the night. Not only the guests, but also the dish washing process and cooking, water pipes and ventilation. 9. No phone service in the whole building. To hold a phonecall it is necessary to go outside. Furthermore, no service leads to no internet connection and the hotel wifi doesn't work. 10. If you're staying in a room with a bed for 2 it's just 2 singular bed frames joined together with a materace for 2 on top, which leads to a significant bump in the middle causing a lot of discomfort and tilt in the beds. 11. Reception is a few buildings down the road, with poor indication of it's location, additional city tax is charged upon arrival. 12. No parking 13. No kitchen utensils, not even an electric kettle 14. Reception is in another building, in a bar, so loud music disrupts every attempt of a conversation with the staff. 15. Staff, bartenders can great you at the reception and then mid-conversation tell you that they don't work at the hotel and don't know anything.

ItalyThe room was quite dark, it didn’t feel comfortable although it had everything necessary. The entrance was in a different building from the reception, above the restaurant kitchen so the stairs (no lift) smelled of cooking all the time. The breakfast was very disappointing- nothing fresh except for fruit salad (only on first day). All packaged or bread cooked from frozen which was not good. As a vegetarian there was very little choice. I also had a pizza in the hotel restaurant which was practically inedible - the staff were very gracious and offered to make another but I declined.

Czech RepublicThe wifi didn't work and, despite telling a member of staff and them promising to sort it out, nothing happened. The air conditioning in the old building was barely adequate, not reaching below 24 unless you stood on a chair right in front of it. However, it was fine in our friends' room, which is above the reception in a newer building.
A good location for visiting the Citta Alta - it's about 15 minutes by foot from the funicular. The area is has some bars and restaurants ( we recommend crossing the street and going down a bit away from the Citta Alta for very good and cheap coffee, cake, etc - the Alberg is expensive). Note that if you have accommodation in the newer building it will be noisy as there's a bar attached to the reception and the music is loud until midnight, not that it bothered us.

SwedenVery hard beds and very old, would have been fine with some rubber foam on the floor than sleeping in their beds. Toilet was constantly refilling its self all night and was making a water stream sound. Don’t bother calling the reception as they have their phone in the restaurant and is very loud and they don’t speak english very well so you can’t understand a word they are saying. Very poor response time with the Bookings instant messaging. Sadly will not be staying here again.
Food in the restaurant was fine for our first night in Italy.
