As mentioned in other reviews parking is available on the street so your proximity to the property is ‘the luck of the draw’. The smaller the car the better in navigating the narrow streets of Carovigno.

This was a beautiful property well situated for exploring Carovigno but also as a base to explore other areas of Puglia by car. Gianni and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The perfect weather allowed us to enjoy an excellent breakfast in the courtyard every day of our stay. There are ample restaurant choices all within short walking distance from the property.

A beautiful quaint historic building. The room and facilities in the room where great and the bed was so comfortable. The staff where so very friendly and nothing was a problem. Also loved the situation of the hotel just a few steps away from amazing restaurants, cafes and cocktail bars.

Nothing really but parking is on the street away from the hotel but is free in most areas around the hotel. Apartments are away from the main facility/reception but that is a positive too.

A lovely quite place in the style of a family owned and operated boutique hotel. Run by the friendly and efficient Gianie and his lovely partner in the kitchen. Excellent location beside the castle right in the center of the lovely town Carovigno seconds from the main piazza. This hotel is a mix of modern rooms and apartments in or close to the main building facility and breakfast room.

We were surprised that the hotel was closed in the afternoon, so had to wait a few hours for the room key. It is also indicated, but when you come from the airport (with suitcases), the waiting time is long. You can't temporarily store them somewhere.

The location was super, right in the center with restaraunts and bars within walking distance. The room/apartment was spacious and very clean (every day). Breakfast was excellent. The town is quiet with few tourists. We rented a car through the hotel from a car company nearby. That was all very well arranged. With the car we visited many cities, so for us an amazing vacation in Pulgia. And after a long day it was relaxing to arrive back at the hotel.

Location was great. Property even better as it seems like a part of a castle. Big spacious room with plenty of day light. Breakfast was great, my favourite is always homemade cakes n Cornettis. Would prefer hot hard boiled eggs instead of cold one but no big deal. Hosts were very professional and made our stay comfortable.

perhaps ppl hanging around the rooms outside of the monastery make noise so this could be very uncomfortable during the night. Choose rooms in the monastery.

A great hotel in Caravigno. Beautiful historic building tastefully restored and furnished. Excellent breakfasts. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Very cute property, it is next to a castle and looks historical but also newly renovated. Great location at the town centre and very convenient to drive to ostuni. Clean and tidy room, the garden is nice and cute. For the price we paid, the quality has greatly exceeded the price. Highly recommended!

A little more choice for breakfast would be nice but is not a dealbreaker . After all this is Italy , where it is not in its country habit not to have extensive breakfast .

Water pressure for our room was a little poor .

View from our room was lovely overlooking the church . Very accessible to the town so we were able to amble along the quaint streets. Room very spacious and breakfast was superb with a good choice and well presented.

A little expensive considering that in the €77 it wasn't included the breakfast, which we added for €13 (6.50 each). But anyway it was worth because the buffet is exquisite!

The staff is friendly and attentive, the room was clean, and the style is rustic and traditional with high sealing and the breakfast is very nice! They bake their own cakes, and there is a buffet so you can choose your breakfast. The B&B is located beside the castle of Carovigno and we suggest to have a walk around the castle and town centre whiich is beautiful. A short drive from Carovigno to Ostuni 10/15 minutes.

A lovely old building, very nicely restored, next to a church and 50m from a castle. The room was comfortable with a small balcony , breakfast was very good. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. 5 minutes walk to the main square in the old town, lots of good restaurants and bars. Dozens of great sandy beaches within 30 mins drive, 10 mins drive to the stunning hilltop town of Ostuni. Very good location for exploring the Puglia area.

Unfortunately we didn’t liked the level of cleanliness- on the surface it was very clean but when we moved the bed (because the mattress was a little far from the wall) we discovered a bottle cap and in the shower we found one long black hair. Despite this, we still recommend this hotel.

We really liked the location of the hotel. A quiet, magical and authentic place. The location of the hotel is close to Ostoni and other places so we could have a peek there in the evening. The room was spacious, very cozy and beautifully decorated. The shower was spacious. We got exactly what we asked for when we placed the order. The breakfast was excellent! Varied and delicious! Satisfied us throughout the day. We could choose to eat inside the hotel or outside and watch the view of the entrance of a historic building, really charming. highly recommend.

The place is attached to the castle and it does feel like you are sleeping inside the castle. The location is terrific and the staff was great! We had a small issue with the air-conditioner but they quickly gave us another room. Breakfast was delicious.

Maybe it's on us but we did expect some gardens to relax since it looked like a masseria. Its more like a terrace. Overall highly recommend to be in the center and explore around .

Best breakfast in puglia - no doubt. Beautiful scenery, nice room and all you need for a long stay. Very clean, hotel standards.
