No problems for this level of hotel

This is a 2 star hotel, so you don't get things like a TV, but for what it is - it's outstanding. The location is very close to a fantastic Tuscan mountain top town, and the host is very eager to please. The provided breakfast is very good for this level of hotel. It's a wonderful Francigena stay over.

There was nothing to dislike.

The host allowed me access at 9 am because the weather was so bad. It was a severe weather warning. He said he was at my service. That, for me, goes a long way. The breakfast was excellent also.

Hiking the Via Francigena. I stayed here last year while hiking a section. The owner is absolutely wonderful. He booked us a taxi to Chiusi. The room was great as was the breakfast. I would stay here again!

Old world charm. Very kind staff, nice big, clean rooms, excellent bath, good breakfast, and located near one of the most charming villages we've seen. Good value for money.

We were greeted with open arms, I had booked the wrong day but they changed it with grace, we could communicate well despite our little Italian, good breakfast and an altogether great experience after having walked 26 kms that day on the VF.

Not a big deal, but the bathroom had a tub rather than a stand-up shower, and that's not something that I'm accustomed to. (That said, we hiked over 20 miles that day from San Quirico to Radicofani, so a relaxing soak in the tub was actually enjoyable!) It also would have been nice if the hotel restaurant had been open that evening,

The room was fairly basic but very nice and only about 100 feet from the gate of the historical city center. The room had a large patio facing the street and the countryside, and I found that very enjoyable. The breakfast was very good, very plentiful and not at all congested. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Nice big 80's style room. Good value for a pilgrim. 1 minute away from historic section near bars , restaurants and an a small grocer / deli. Hotel Owner is VF au fait.
