The hosts were so friendly and helpful, they had lots of gluten free options for dinner and breakfast and even took care of my bike that had gotten muddy on the way. The locations is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Will stay longer next time!

I loved everything , the owners are very nice, helpful and really care about your well being during your stay. The location is beautiful, peace and calm. The food is really good and having the restaurant in the hotel is perfect for dinner.

Very nice environment and very warm welcome. We felt like home immediatly. Even waiting for our friends who arrived late in the evening was not a problem. Also early breakfast on our departure day was arranged without hesitation. The place is a bit outside of the next town, which provides easy access to nature and energetic places.

Tucked away in a quiet woods. Beautiful grounds. 1100 year old monastery! Alice and Daniele could not have been more hospitable. A lovely stay w remarkable cuisine.

A beutiful place in the mountains, perfect for walks ang hiking. The apartment was very big and comfortable. There is a 2km dirt road but is in good condition and we didn't have any problems.

Fantastic location in the middle of woods. Very friendly and individual approach of the owners. Fantastic dinner, wine, breakfast and many more. The surrounding area is great for relaxation. Everything is like harmonized here. The roadpath to get here is just fine, considering the area (top of the mountain and woods).

There are two roads to approach the Villa. One of them is 15 km dirt road. But the other is only 2 km and the rest is asphalt. We took the long one with a sports car. It was our fault, but next time we will be smarter.

The location was fantastic, providing good hiking. Our hosts were delightful and provided us with information to help us get the most out of our stay. They made special provision for us with gluten-free food, including a special home-made chocolate cake. Both of our hosts spoke English well and their enthusiasm for all aspects of pur stay was a delight.

There is really nothing to complain about.

We loved everything about this place: the beautiful location in the middle of the nature, the friendliness of the hosts and the delicious food they serve in the restaurant. The appartment is very spacious and well equipped, the bed is comfortable and it has an own garden. The location is quite remote, but we got very good indications about how to get there. The hosts gave us great recommendations about hikes and activities in the area. We definitely recommend Villa San Michele if you want to combine hiking with wine tasting in the beautiful Chianti region.

Lovely experience in nature, very friendly and helpful owners. We felt like home! Our room was very big and decorated tastefully on Tuscany style. As the property is on the San Michele mountain, you have a lot of hike and trekking opportunities to admire the beautiful nature. Breakfast was good, dinner was the best!! All prepared with seasonal ingredients with their innovative touch. For the seamless transfer, make sure that you follow the instructions to find the address ;)

The hosts are a very nice couple who provide a personal and loving experience. The beautiful villa is located in the heart of the nature, with a breathtaking view. In addition, the villa has a great restaurant, that collaborates with great chef so the food is delicious and cool. And don’t forget the excellent local wine. It is recommended to walk in the paths around the villa. The place is also excellent for children.

The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming! My girlfriend is celiac and they made gluten free cake for her for breakfast. Overall the food was amazing & all home made (we had breakfast every day + dinner twice). Beautiful and spacious rooms and very quiet surroundings.

The hosts will make you feel like home. Alice's cakes and food are just outstanding. Everything is very curated and authentic. Having breakfast by the fireplace with the sun coming in and the view on the forest has been wholesome. We were sad to leave this place.
