Some of the staff in the restaurant were not very polite and the breakfast was not great.

All the staff at the hotel were exceptional and were very hospitable and accommodating. I came to the hotel with my disabled mother and all the staff were very helpful and made sure we had a room right next to the lift which was perfect for her. Some of the amazing staff to name a few were: Miriana, Carlo, Antonio and Felice (taxi driver). Would highly recommend and looking forward to coming here again in the future!

Location was great: Close to beautiful tourist locations like Pompei and the Amalfi coast, but far away from the madness of these attractions. Great and very friendly staff. Certailnly visist the nearby (5 min walk) Abbaye!!! Ask for a tour, it's a gem!

It was a great pleasure staying at Hotel Scapolatiello during a recent family holiday to Italy. The hotel is in the picturesque village of Corpo di Cava and has a warm and serene atmosphere. It is a short drive to the breathtaking Amalfi Coast and within walking distance of the splendid Abbazia della Santissima Trinità di Cava dei Tirreni, an 11th century monastery which is an important tourist attraction in the region. The living rooms, bedroom suites and guest areas are lovely and comfortable with breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. My extended family and international guests were treated very well during our stay and enjoyed every single moment. We were impressed by the warm, friendly and polite nature of all of the Hotel Scapolatiello Staff. We are eternally grateful to the Giuseppe, Patrizia and the hotel management for accommodating our special requests and making us feel at home. The spa and massage facilities were enjoyable and a great addition to our stay. We were delighted with the options of Italian & International cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious! A highlight was celebrating my wedding in the beautiful Villa Scapolatiello and the fantastic celebration we enjoyed. I highly recommend it for friends, families, couples and solo travellers - 5* !

The hotel is located up high with great views, it had a gated garage, the rooms were perfect. 10/10 would visit again.

Breakfast could be more varied to include fried or poached egg, tomatoes and bacon. Bored with scrambled egg after a few days. Restaurant too expensive. Needed an ordinary and varied menu. Ordered suckling pig and it came with no vegetables. Not many restaurants within walking distance. However, the pizza place was good value and tasty. The town Cava de Tirreni was great, restaurants open at 7pm.. But all shops closed between 1 and 5pm.

The area was very green and peaceful. Tea & Coffee making facilities in each room. Village was quaint .

Rooms are a little small, and some of the furnishings could use an update. if you have a larger vehicle expect to “thread the needle” to get to reception.

this turned out to be a gem of a hotel. tucked away in a medieval village atop a hill, the Belle Epoque property is charming and beautiful. The restaurant was an unexpected surprise, it’s quite good with a nice wine list and impeccable service.

the weather was unseasonally wet. there was no heating in our room or bathroom so difficult to dry towels and damp clothes.

unfortunately it rained for the duration of our visit, so although we did do a big hike, we never sat out on the terrace or used the pool. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Stunning grounds and gardens. The pool is very nice to enjoy. The restaurant is good too! Sometimes they have live music in the gardens in the evening which is really lovely atmosphere
