Central location is excellent! Having reception 40 steps up from street level was a major surprise and distress. This limited my potential enjoyment of Palermo. The lack of a lift must be clearly stated in the property description.

Second stay here this time stored my luggage as it is 2 long flights of stairs to carry bags down they do have a system of hoists to take bags up.

Everything was great! Only thing worth mentioning is that they have some pretty steep stairs to reach the first floor (really second floor in U.S. terms) in case mobility is an issue. And also - a little old school is you leave your key at the desk before you leave…but someone is always there to let you in whatever the hour is so…really a none issue!

Great budget accommodation in a prime location smack in the middle of Palermo’s historic city center (as in a stone’s throw from Teatro Massimo). Clean rooms with the most amazing air conditioning I’ve ever experienced traveling and living in Italy. I think family owned and operated. It’s a great option if you’re just looking for a no frills stay (especially overnight).

Be prepared to use google translate if you can's speak Italian- the staff are lovely though! The locks were very fiddly and we never really worked out how to lock/unlock our door

Great central location. Exceptionally clean (seemed to be a brand new bathroom) and nice style/ colour scheme. Plenty of space in the room; also a desk. Bed firm and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had good variety.

Lack of tea/coffee making facilitieis in the room. Had to climb up 38 steps to reach the reception/entrance! The staff spoke no English which meant they were unable to offer advice about restaurants or transport etc.

Excellent breakfast. Towels and sheets changed several times. Attractive room. Perfect location.

Simple (ie basic) family-run hotel. Small room with balcony over very lively street, best suited to younger guest, perhaps. Breakfast wasn’t great, and was taken in a cramped mezzanine area, but the hotel location is terrific, the owners/staff are friendly and obliging, and if you like dogs they have a friendly beaut whose only top happy to welcome guests.

excellent location right in the thick of Central Palermo activity. Within 15-20 mins of the hotel there are many Palermo surprises ( awesome sights). Teatro Massimo, Palatine Chapel, the harbour, St Catherine’s monastery etc. Breakfast was good to have on site, and changed a little each day.

The room is basic. No frills but perfect for a city break when you are spending most of your day visiting the beautiful city.

The location was perfect. we were always a stones throw from all the best sights, markets, bars and restaurants. Exceptionally clean and friendly. It was a haven from the bustle outside. The new windows blocked out the very busy street below and the beds were fresh and comfortable. Although we didn’t choose a breakfast option we were able to get a wee coffee first thing. From the balcony of our room you could see the Teatro Massimo.
