Bathroom had mould in it. Overpriced room. Avoid long stays here. Made me wait outside of the property whilst I had to scan documents over WhatsApp with poor internet available. Not ideal.

Hard to find but that's venice streets for you!

A bit frustrating as didntcreceive check in instructions due to poor signal maybe but we were stranded outside for a short while late at night.

The room was not clean walls very dirty. The beds were unacceptably soft and small. We couldn’t open the windows because there were no screens and the mosquitos were bad. We were covered in bites.

Excellent location for 24 hours in Venice! It is right next to the Scala del Bovol (hence the name) which are a beautiful set of open stairs. The hosts were polite and helpful over the telephone although we never met them in person. The room was clean.

Air-conditioning was not working when I booked it we wernt told it wasn't working ,hot water not working at night for a shower it was cold and no jug on arrival as said when I booked had to ask for one and they said we would get it the next day and no cups for tea or coffee only plastic cups which we had to double up due to hot to drink out off , It wasn't was said on the booking .

The host was quite unresponsive. Took him about 9 minutes to respond to my messages telling him I was outside his property. I requested for access to his wifi to map my journey to my destination but he ignored my request. The room was clean but had this uncanny smell like a toilet or a full septic tank stench filled the room. The bathroom was clean. The shower basin had shower curtains that did not keep the water in and flowed freely into the room whilst showering

Difficult to check in as there was no one on site and so we had to call a number on the door.

Location was really good and the place had everything we needed but nothing spectacular, as expected. Lady we spoke to over the phone was lovely.

- Price vs quality (for the price they charge you usually have much better room and facilities in any spot of the world) - It's old and smells a bit, needs repaiment - The room is small (not much space apart from beds) - There is no suitable furniture to put your bags and luggage (put it on the floor) - The floor is not clean (my white socks became black), there were stains on the walls, there was some spider web also - Very old kettle, we did not risk to boil water - Also a strange thing with payment - money was taken from my account a day before the trip, but when we arrived they asked me to authorize in Booking, so that they can collect the money from my credit card. It made me feel nervous (other people wrote about double payment in comments before). But in the end it was fine.

- Having no alternatives, it's ok to sleep one night - The bedsheets were clean, the towels were clean - There was warm water, soap and shower gel - The location is central, although a bit hard to find - Communication via WhatsApp and Booking is ok, they gave all neccesary instructions (at Booking they mostly reply in Italian, I used Google Translate) - Self-checkin
