The bed was really uncomfortable, there was no suitable blanket on the bed if we were cold. There was no slippers in the room.

The location, air-condition and coffee maker was good. The room was clean.

It’s located in a quiet area away from all the tourists but still with an amazing access to tasty cozy cafes and restaurants and city centre. Hotel is a few steps away from the water bus station which makes it even more convenient. It is a cute small hotel with a very friendly helpful host. She was kind enough to give us directions. I recommend Piccolo to all my friends who will travel to Venice

It required maintenance. Shower door was not on the track, the walls had some damage and the toilet flusher fell off the wall multiple times.

The Venetian antique look was so pleasant.

AMAZING experience at Piccolo Vecellio. Could not recommend this highly enough to anyone wishing to stay in Venice. Great location to access public transport (2 minute walk from water-bus station), Elisa (host) was really friendly and knowledgeable of the area and recommended multiple places for us to visit whilst we stayed in Venice. Room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Bed was really comfortable and we felt like we were at home whilst we stayed here.

The location was perfect just a few minutes walk to the centre. The host was great she told as all the tips when to take bots where to eat. I highly recommend staying there. Beds are so comfy.

SOS!!! SOS!!! Write the message before reserving these hotel, The hotel is located in the 2nd floor, in the 1st floor of the same building is tombstone / grave stone market, everything for a grave, very dangerous in the night, so we was in our room still sleeping early morning the cleaning women came and open the door by her keys and said I have to clean the room now or later will not, we said no need. First time when we arrived the hotel manager of the hotel said if you need increase the reservation don’t do it by booking becomes we both will pay extra charges, text me directly by WhatsApp and I will do, 1 day before we write here said we want to increase, so next day comes another lady and said you should live the room because we have a client they’re waiting for moving in, They made too much problems for us too much,

The property was located on a very narrow street and the room I occupied had a small window that daylight did not enter. .

The bed was very comfortable. The nearby airport waterbus stop was a few minutes walk away from the property and was only 40 minutes away from the airport, unlike airport waterbus stops in a more central Venice location where the journey from the airport could take an hour or more. The area was very quiet, but a short walk to the centre of Venice.

It is small, but there wasn't a toothbrush holder, so we had to put our toothbrushes on the sink. Also, there is just one outlet next to the bed.

The host was friendly and helpful. The room was very pretty, in a classical venecian style. We got complementary coffee, tea and water. The bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect, near to the main city sites.

We asked to leave our luggage at the accommodation because we had a board ride reserved. We got at the accommodation and a mad was there, he said that he will check us in after he finishes a phone conversation however the conversation took more than 15 minutes. We tried calling the number gave by booking and we got declined and got messages from the girl that apparently managed the booking that she will be there soon. We went in the boat ride with out luggages since not the girl or the man helped us.

They should add up toiletries and other facilities. Plus they should make a proper shower not an improvised bathtub and shower in which you can easily slip and have and accident.

The room was big and with nice furniture. However, we were disappointed that for the amount of money we paid there were no packages like shower cap or other toiletries. Plus the bathtub was really problematic as the inside of it was curvy and supposed to be a bathtub, not a converted shower. The improvised shower with the glass was not suitable for a proper shower inside the curvy bathtub. Both me and my partner slipped and almost broke our arm or leg.

We had the smallest room and it was quit small. Painting the walls of the room in order to refresh it would be a good idea. The furniture that support the fridge is cheap. Pretty expensive for a room that needs some refresh.

Great location very near the vaporetto Fondamente Nuove station. That was very useful. Quite place. Nice staff. Very nice little fridge. Very practical.

Upon walking into the room we realized it looked nothing like the room that was displayed on the website. It was small, and very little to no walking room between our luggage and bed. Furthermore, when we opened the window we were greeted with an influx of mosquitoes which we had to spend the rest of our two nights dealing with, getting several bites in the process as well as being unable to have proper sleep due to the high pitch frequency they create when they get near your ear. In addition, the thin walls provided had us hearing several loud conversations from hotel guests on either side of us (us being in room 3, the other two being in rooms 2 & 4) which didn’t help with the sleep deprivation we experienced those two days. Furthermore, the air conditioning didn’t have a remote and upon messaging Marzia she said the only available remote was the TV, which obviously did not control the AC unit. As a result, it was extremely hot and stuffy in our room and we could not open the window with the risk of mosquitoes inundating the room. Walking distance isn’t too bad as it’s about a 15min walk from St. Marks square and other sightseeing spots around the area. I understand this is supposed to be a family establishment but I think there needs to be better structure and modern renovations to accommodate all guests. I can start by suggesting window screens installed in the event guests want to open the window. Overall we were pretty disappointed with what was advertised versus what we actually saw. If you do end up staying here while in Venice, be warned for mosquitoes and no remote to turn on the AC.

Marzia the hostess for the sister hotel: Hotel Vecellio was welcoming and showed us where Piccolo Vecellio was which was a 2 min walk. And that’s the where the positive reviews begin and end.
