No fridge in our room although there was a communal fridge you could use. Beware it’s a city centre location so there is noise at night. It’s two plus floors of stairs to the apartment serviced by a tiny goods lift which couldn’t be used if it was raining ! I’d say not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The location was very good. Limited breakfast, croissants and pastries and some continental meats & cheeses. Staff were very helpful & even posted my iPhone charger to me when I left it behind so I can’t fault them.

Parking was not close to apartment and not easy to find. Worst part was advertised as having an elevator - which was true - but you need to go up a sizeable staircase to get to elevator (very difficult with baggage and bad hip) and then another smaller staircase to get to apartment.

Breakfast was fantastic particularly our hostess. She was delightful: friendly, kind, and totally service oriented! Room was top quality and very well located.

The room was very clean and modern, with comfortable bed and both feather and hypoallergenic pillows as I had requested. Breakfasts were generous but we are not breakfast eaters and were eating so much all the time that we didn’t take advantage of this service. Simona who looked after the rooms and breakfast service was lovely! The location of Apollo Suites is fantastic with views of the sea on both sides and the Apollo temple directly in front. it is also next to the market and a close walk to wonderful restaurants. Car parking was close by and reasonably priced.

No mirror in the room and no shelves nor drawers to put your clothes. The lift does not arrive to the floor of the room.

The place is ideally located if you arrive by train or car. One bridge from Syracusa, yet in Ortigia, we really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was really nice, helped us with the storage of our suitcases. the check-in/check-out process was fast and effectuve. The room was very nice, with nice views, a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast was very good. We would go back without hesitation.

The front door of this block of flats has no "Apollo Suite" stated on it and new arrivals might think that the place is actually abandoned. Parking is at a public car park a few blocks away. There are two small flights of steps to get to Apollo Suite in spite of lift.

Great location and Simona was a wonderful hostess who was very warm and helpful - including getting out room ready as quickly as possible so we could have an early check in and to use the steam press to press my dress for a wedding!!

We didn’t get any sleep because the air condition was extremely loud, and the noise from the street travelled (rubbish trucks and glass collection. In addition, the entrance to the property wasn’t very welcoming, and we didn’t feel safe in the elevator, it was tiny and felt flimsy, and there was a sign to say not to use it in heavy rain. If not for the extremely loud air conditioning and lack of sound insulation from the street it would have been an alright stay, but it didn’t live up to the pictures and i think there were other places I could have booked which would have been much better value for money (and I even got this at a significantly reduced price).

The property was very clean and new, the bed was big and comfortable (although a sheet only, no duvet), and the shower was good.

Second floor was more like the fourth with all the stairs . The room was hot and stuffy when we got there - the AC had not been on . The stairway was only partially lit .

Location was good . The breakfast was decent and the woman serving breakfast and doing the checking out process was very nice and informative . The room was clean.

Sheets were dirty full of ants on the floor. Hair on the floor. The safe started beeping in the middle of the night.

Although there were elevators, it did not serve the full way up. One full flight of stairs another half flight of stairs needed to be used to get to the 3rd floor together with large suitcases as we were on a long holiday. With smaller luggage it would not be a problem but this was not very clear when we booked. We managed but such limitations should be very transparently disclosed.

The owner failed to note the bars on the ground floor in the building proper and around the corner regularly blast music at deafening levels until midnight or 2 am every Friday and Saturday night-could not sleep!

The property was physically attractive and had a well designed interior. Breakfast was decent enough.

Small bedroom The lift didn’t go from the ground to the Apollo floor, which meant dragging cases up and down steps.

Everything was just perfect!! The location is 5 min from the bus, 5-10 min from the city centre and 15 from the beach. The decor, ambience and organisation of the space was surprisingly good! The lady that is responsible for the welcome is lovely - super friendly, gave us tips about the city and make us feel welcomed even after the check out.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely building both inside and out, really comfortable room and fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful (especially at breakfast!)
