The procedure at check-in: I was asked to give my ID which would only be returned to me the morning after, at check-out. I don't think a hotel can (and certainly it shouldn't) keep someone's ID documents. This procedure should be revised.

Nothing really to complain about. The staff was amicable and helpful.

The hotel is not in the center of Bolonia. Walking distance to the Old Town is about 40 minutes and to the Congress Center is about 20 minutes. But the closer the center the more expensive it is. The fare for this hotel (given the top of the season !) was pretty decent. Excellent breakfast. This was not the problem for me as I came by plane but for people traveling by car - ensure you secure the parking place - the hotel parking looked pretty small.

The room was clean, the staff was super nice and helpful. Astor was perfect for a night during our travels back to Germany because you can safely park your car, and take a 5-10 minutes ride with an Uber to the old city Center of Bologna. great breakfast, amazing coffee! great value for money!

The breakfast,very strange what happen in the breakfast in this hotel,no one ask u what to drink just for few people,the employee drink always & for u no one attention,i did't see this in all of my life & another think the egg always is very cold it seems that always did before 2 days.

First room, looked good, large and underneath roof but air conditioning did not work. Hotel had no person to fix so moved to another room on ground floor, a bit pokey, but ok for one night. Its not close to city centre. Mainly residential area.

The staff were incredibly lovely. Very good value for money. Good bathroom and location is okay, with some nice restaurants and market nearby.

Would have liked slippers in the room, as the floors are tile, hence cold. Pricing is also a bit spicy, but that is a function of the city and how busy it is, so I can't really put that on the hotel.

Clean rooms, very nice and helpful staff, comfortable beds. All the basics were very good. We were out the door 8 am and back in after 10 pm, so we didn't exactly experience the hotel that much.

We had a room with the windows into the internal court, actually facing another windows. So we could not keep the window open as you could see everything from the room across. All furniture in the room is very old that give you not a pleasant impression. The second room our friend had had a mold on the wall. For the money we payed and for 3 stars our expectations were a little bit higher.

The location is very convenient as it it is 10 min walk from the train station. And the bus stop is only 100 m from the hotel. Breakfast is basic, but enough to start the day and all was fresh.

First of all, they asked us for the city tax, wich was included on booking. The sheet was broken...the furniture is old, not an 100€/night hotel.

Hotel is quite noisy. Apart from being on the flight path to the airport, there are no carpets or soft furnishings. Sound transmits freely from room to room. Chairs being dragged across the tiled floor in the room above and teenagers chatting in their room until 02:00 every night made for a noisy experience. No food offering apart from breakfast which is mimimal. No hot food, much of the rest is in plastic packets, though there were fresh croissants. Rooms are somewhat dated.

Conveniently located for the station and industry to the north of Bologna. Good sized room.
