How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

In the first room the bed and the mattress was really uncomfortable but the hostess changed us room as soon as we told her.The second one was better. After all the room was pretty good but in my opinion it was too expensive.The bathroom door was broken and the room was a bit neglected in general.
The hostess was very kind and helpful and there was cleaning facilities every day that we really appreciated.We had also coffee every day in our room.The room was very close to most tourist attractions and places of interest.

The stairs are a little hard to step up too we were on 3rd floor and my daughter even struggled with them

The bathroom size was unsatisfactory. Additionally, the online receptionist only assisted with my arrival but then became unresponsive, leading to a disappointing experience. The property's checkout time at 10 am is inconveniently early, and requesting a late checkout until 12 noon incurs a steep fee of 20 euros. However, they do offer the option to use the common area after vacating the room at 10 am.
The room's amenities, cleanliness, and spaciousness were impressive.

Maybe a renovation of the bathroom, or new hairdryer would really boost up the place.
Excellent location. The manager of the property was very friendly and gave us excellent directions on how to come and do the check in. The room was spacious, comfortable.

The coffee table although was an add on provided thank you. But the outlet to it was far away so had to drag to the bedside outlet. I think a chair will be better to have so one can sit on it otherwise it’s just bed
I like the suite entirely and the staff was helpful

Our stuff was moved out of.our room and we were locked out of the room we had been staying in.for 2 nights due to a mix up with the company they were using to book and the owner. Everything was sorted in the end
Location is perfect fab little cafe round the corner easy to get in and out Nice enough rooms and clean Note the apartment is not clearly advertised it is a door with other apartments but getting in was easy if you follow the instructions

The AC was a bit noisy and the mattress lacked a bit of firmness

There is no nameplate indicating the hotel, the first time is very hard to find, not sure if it is.
The location is very good. Coffee and snacks are also provided. The room is clean. But the bathroom is a small. The staff provide good service, even though they haven't met each other, but they always give advice.

As a Senior I found the techie stuff daunting this hotel is good for millennials who know their tech stuff. Having no front desk was a bit difficult. But the location is very good and if you want to feel Rome life stay in their suites. There is no breakfast since they don't have a dining hall

In the room there are no chairs/desks on which to place personal belongings comfortably. No luggage storage service after check-out time

A bit noisy from outside,but also by the other rooms as well.
Nice,large room in a very centralized point of Rome. Very good access to subway,buses. Good restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Very helpful assistance via Whatsup. Very friendly cleaning lady😊Was also nice to have the opportunity to have a cup of coffee in the morning-thanks to the Nespresso machine in the hall.
