How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

What we didn't like was the shower too high , instead of the steps to room they could do a lift .
Breakfast was very good in the room .

Room is near old town and beach. All is easy walkable. Place was clean and special thanks to very kind lady Maria who brought to are room excelent breakfast.

Staff was extremely friendly. Very good breakfast. Asked to have it a bit earlier which was absolutely no problem. Provided excellent service, thank you for making our stay exceptional. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

Everything was perfect even parking place. The location was so great that I was able to come out and see the sea and the sights safely even at night. They also kindly explained everything in detail, helped us check-in, recommend restaurant and more. also, communicated right away with each other, so we stayed without any problems. If I go again I would like to stay here.

I booked last minute because of a cancelation. Quick and good communication with the host. Rich breakfast served in the room, they even asked about our preferences. Really good water pressure in the shower 😄. Easy and free parking in the courtyard. We had a great night and slept well with our infant.

1. Room was on the 2nd floor of the building. If you have luggage you'll have to carry it up 2 flights of stairs 2. Wifi was a little slow

Amazing location and the apartment itself. Margherita was so nice and helpful from the beginning - every suggestion she made regarding food places/transport was the best. I really recommend to visit these places. In the apartment there was everything needed, cleaning is done perfectly, amazing breakfast was served.

We couldn’t pay by card as i imagine the Pdq was not working. This things can happen.

There are no pots or pans in the kitchen at all. There was also no kettle for boiling water. There was a microwave oven. We asked the hostess to bring a kettle and she did.

clean,comfortable and close to the central restaurant and coffee lounge. hostess Margherita was so polite and attentive to all our needs. She suggested a restaurant which the food was excellent and a coffee pasticeria with a great granita. At 8.30 she was so kind to bring breakfast in bed there’s nothing that it was a problem 11 out of 10 thank you so much hope to see you again ciao

The accommodation is located on the third floor of the block of flats. Apparently, it is a former large apartment converted into accommodation with three rooms, each with its own bathroom. Our room was large, clean, modernly furnished with a window to the courtyard, a large double bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was modern, clean. Breakfast was provided for us every day at the agreed time on a tray in front of the door: the breakfast was smaller, but nice and varied (croissant, toast, some muesli, juice, fruit, yogurt). The accommodation is located near the sea and not far from the historic center of the city. Parking either directly on the street or in the neighboring large parking lot.

Breakfast might have been better. It was rather limited. The property is situated on the second floor and there is no lift. The shower needs a little bit of more pressure. But on the whole it was good.

A small portion of breakfast.
Nice room with a view of the sea and Erice. The bed was comfy, breakfast was tasty.
