Best hotel of our Italian trip so far. We arrived early and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. So welcoming and warm. Spacious double room and the pool was exceptional (1.2 m deep). Everything was clean and well kept and we would definitely come back.

This place was a hidden gem in quiet countryside just less than 10 minutes drive from Pisa tower area. Spacious apartment with everything you need for living for a while. Clean, comfortable, with beautiful garden and pool. The staff was also nice and helpful. Great value and totally recommended! :)

The plumbing was a bit noisy! Nothing too bad but water in the loo kept running in the night! Rural location was good but we had not realised it was so far from restaurants or shopping for food.

Lovely airy apartment with good facilities and the pool was great! Rural setting so was peaceful and away from traffic and noise.

Kitchen didnt come with a sweeping brush and pan to tidy up . The seating area downstairs is a small area with a 2 person couch and a table with 4 chairs as well as full size fridge/freezer , so its not the biggest area to relax in. Also the Air-Con was not very effective in the unit we had . It needs to be upgraded as you need to keep the doors and windows closed to prevent mosquitos in the Summer months

Amazing stay, fabulous grounds and pool area. Very clean and well maintained . The 2 bed apartment we had was very comfortable in the bedrooms and bathroom- it was all great. The bathroom was luxurious with a big walk-in shower area. There are free bicycles you can borrow to tour the area, which was a great bonus. Seperate BBQ area and nice gardens . we got a tour of the facilities by the check-in lady which was appreciated

We loved it!

We loved the apartment. It’s a great place for kids with a play area, table tennis and the pool. The staff is lovely. They are very helpful. The fact that you get a few towels, bottled water and a table cloth shows great care. Restaurant Rustichello is a great place to eat. It’s close to Borgo. Cinque Terra, Lucca and the Pistoia Zoo were wonderful, but so was Viareggio, which is close by and has a great beach. We loved staying here and we will definitely be back!

Super service by the lady (who spoke perfect English) whom arranged the breakfast and showed us the rooms. Hotel is ideally located for people whom like a relaxing place close to nature and with a lovely garden. Some nice Italian family restaurants only 5-7min away by car. Top location.

After a long drive in the morning, we arrived at B&B Borgo di Pratavecchie hoping to spend the afternoon relaxing by the swimming pool before flying home the following day. Unfortunately, the B&B's maintenance man decided to light a bonfire right next to the pool which created thick black smoke that drifted across the pool area and lingered all afternoon. I informed Reception about this on 4 separate occasions, and water was eventually put on the fire to dampen it down. However, after two hours spent engulfed in smoke, our final afternoon in Italy was not the relaxing one we had hoped for.

B&B Borgo di Pratavecchie is in a beautiful setting, our suite was spacious, very clean and very comfortable.

When we entered the apartment it stroke us how humid and hot it is inside. It was end of October so it didn’t come from the outside. The lady put the AC on cool, we opened all the windows and ventilated it for some time. There was also an artificial lemon smell- some chemicals that were to cover some unwanted odor. After an hour we closed the windows, left AC running and went sightseeing. After we came back it was the same- apparently the heating system was broken. However the lady from reception said she cannot do anything because other rooms are occupied and it is too late to call the maintenance. Also, the kitchen counter was full of ants, although we just left an empty plastic bag on it, in which were previously boxes with food. The lady came with some chemicals and got rid of the ants. They kept coming so my husband took the chemicals from her and fought them himself. We spent there just one night but due to the heat and lack of air (ground floor so you can’t really leave the windows open for the night) our sleep quality was terrible. There were a few small issues as well as dirty dishes in the kitchen (although there was a dishwasher!) and a shower that requires a refurbishment.

We did not have the same great experience as many describe. The cleaning was okay, hard to keep it Nice and clean with raw floors. Some of the glasses in the kitchen where dirty and even the kitchen it self was not very nice. We had trouble with the aircondition. It didn’t cool very well and one night it completely turned down. One of baths had an awful smell clearly coming From the drains. The whole bedroom smelled of it. The hot water ran out after two baths (in one of the villas for at least 4 people). And most of the toilets had a hard time flushing. We lacked simple information such as where to take out the trash and how often they would clean. During our five Day stay they cleaned it once. And last but not least, the wifi was terrible. Some times it was impossible to Connect to it. And as your own data on the phone is just as bad it Can be a problem for some.

The breakfast was good (though they had a hard time keeping it filled with food) and the pool area was very nice.

As the property did not have any eating facilities apart from breakfast. My family stayed here before my wedding and did not have a car so we’re stuck A lot of the time. My mum is disabled so was unable to walk to ride a bike the shop. I think because of the location you need a shop or a restaurant or somewhere onsite to access food. Also it mentioned you had a bbq however there was none

Unfortunately during our stay the hotel has rented the property for external events (model related event) and our room was right in the middle of the event (between the pool and the covered area). So we asked to move to a more private area so we wouldn't disturb the party and the other way around.. We were not informed upfront that we wouldn't be allowed to use the pool because of that. Frustrating. After changing to another room one of the guests from this party simply entered in our bedroom .. Very weird. Staff was informed and apologised but anyway, if none of these unusual circumstances have happened, I would definitely give a 5 rate.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. We were given a cozy and private room for a family of 3. Nice view and great pool also.

no free toiletries, a lot of mosquitos in the room, smell from pipes bathroom and facilities were quite old. bathroom was old and shower didn’t look clean.
