How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

For a short stay was ok it was clean. Just if you are facing the street or the parking lot is quiet noisy people tend to gather there and chat.

A quiet and restful environment is essential when traveling, especially for work. Unfortunately, the elevators had a loud bell that rang every time they arrived or departed, making it difficult to fall and stay asleep. The only period of quiet was from about 12:30 AM to 6:00 AM, after which the ringing resumed. Another issue was the lack of water in the mini-fridge—something small but crucial when traveling. To make matters worse, the vending machines were out of order, forcing me to go all the way to a supermarket just to get something to drink.
The hotel was excellent—very clean, conveniently located for work, with parking available, and a great price.

The breakfast options were somewhat limited, but ok for the price!
We had a pleasant one-night stay at B&B Hotel Como Camerlata. The hotel offers convenient car parking and provides great value for money. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a good choice for a short stay in Como.

The only problem was that we heater wasn’t working well, we spent 2 nights there. So we were expecting a change of a room or maybe someone coming to fixed it, but nothing. I’m a receptionist, so I know how you should act and react when this happens to a costumer. The good thing it’s that at least they give us an electric heater.
The room it’s big, it’s nice and comfortable.

We just wished it was closer to the old town.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. There were food and beverages available to purchase in the lobby. Parking was great.

Many (economy) rooms completely without windows (?!). Noisy rooms if you want a room with windows, but you get one in the street side. Noisy room if you get one in the ground floor and some above you flush the toilete - everytime I had a feeling being in aquapark day or night. Noisy room if you get one in the ground floor and other guests want to enjoy air-hockey placed few steps from your room (and your head). Instant eggs for breakfast!!! (like in 2 stars hotel in Bulgaria). Cigarette smell in bathroom.
Easy parking if you travel by car. Quite OK breakfast (for 3* hotel) except instant eggs (?!). Not a bad location (if you have a car).

As far as we could see only 1x plug in the room, and our plug didn’t seem to fully insert.
Helpful staff, good breakfast, really good parking. Room was very big, plenty of space and very easy to walk for food and to train station for Como centre.

Quite a long way from the Lake but we did walk and a bit noisy from the traffic in the morning as it is on a main road.
Very clean and great breakfast. Also an excellent underground car park. Staff were very pleasant.

Don’t stay there if you’re traveling without car, I booked by mistake thinking its near St Giovanni train station, although its like 6 min ride by train ti Como city centre, trains are coming with long layovers like 20 min or smth and always late changing schedules and platforms which are quite far one from another so you might still miss the train. My room wasn’t cleaned although I put a tag on the door. :( but since i was staying only 1 night not a big deal
Room was minimalistic yet had all thats needed. Breakfast was really nice for such a price
