Nothing, it's a really good place to stay. Not too many eating options in the area if you don't want pizza! You will hear the trains, but they stop at a reasonable time at night and didn't bother us at all.

This is a really great mini hotel! A collection of individual rooms in a block of apartments right next to the station. Our room was very clean, tastefully and simply decorated with a great bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room has a small balcony and a shutter to make it dark at night. I'm addition to a kettle and fridge in the room, there is a communal area with a microwave and coffee machine. The host was very helpful and welcoming. We couldn't have been happier with our choice, being only 5 minutes walk to Herculaneum and so close to the station for Pompeii and Naples.

It was not a good location for a car. There isn’t parking except for a pay garage. The building has a very old elevated that need money to run. The host did provide the coins. There was no breakfast provided. They had a coffee maker, tea kettle and microwave. It was also right on the railroad tracks which was noisy.

It was well located for the train and seeing the scavo. The room was clean and spacious.

The bed was very hard for my comfort. Some sort of pillow top would be a 100% better.

As of Sept 2024 the next door apartment is undergoing construction. If you are a get up an go traveler this shouldn’t bother you. They start between 8-9 am. If you prefer to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee, not so much. I didn’t let this affect my rating as it is not a BnB Iside issue.

The host was easy to reach and quickly resolved any issues I had. The bed is comfortable and the coffee is a nice touch. The apartment is on the 6th floor above the trains so the noise is not as bad as you would expect. The tourist offices are right outside and Herculaneum ruins are just down the street. Very convenient. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy to explore on foot, but know when you return to the apartment it is only uphill walking. You can walk to the beach (map it).

Location by the train comes with train noise. Thankfully that ends during sleeptime. The elevator was small and has a unique (to me) feature -- it's OK, just interesting culturally.

Our key purpose was a decent place convenient to the Ercolano train station. This was that. We were also amused by the way this older apartment in this older building was transformed into a bright five room hotel and the interesting design choices. The view from a high floor was nice. Our host was friendly and made sure communication was good.

The area around the property looked a bit rough but in reality it was safe and quiet.

The whole floor of the block has been beautifully converted to a boutique hotel. The room had a very comfortable king size bed and the shower was brilliant. The room had an air conditioner which was great in the heat. The whole place was very clean and the hostess was wonderful. The block is 15 seconds from the railway station and, on first impressions, you may be a bit worried but don’t let that concern you. We only stayed one night before flying home in the morning but I would have been happy to stay for longer. There was tea and coffee making equipment in the room and a free coffee machine in the lobby. All in all I would definitely recommend the place for a budget traveller that wants a luxury stay!

Every single thing in this accomodation was on point. We often visit Ercolano, and we will be back for sure. P.S. There’s a cute little elevator that charges you 5 cents for a ride. We (my wife and I) had a running joke between where I would cover the costs of food/sightseeing/whatever and she would cover the ride back home home. Oh, and do not be affraid - hosts give you like 60-70cents for the rides.

Right from the start Libera was in contact with us and waited around while we had some delays on the trains. Libera greeted us with a smile and ran us through everything we needed to now about the apartment including providing coins for the lift (the lift cost 5c each use and the apartments are on the sixth floor) The shared area is spotlessly clean and has a microwave and coffee machine. The room was lovely and clean and quite spacious for what we have seen so far in Europe The room was cleaned each day to the same pristine standard Libera was always available on WhatsApp to answer any questions and even provided more coins when we ran out The location is right next to the train station so expect a little noise but it wasn’t too bad. Also very close to lots of restaurants with great food and walking distance to Herculeum ruins The balcony was perfect with a small table and two chairs to sit with glimpses of Mt Vesuvius and the ocean

Perfect location if you want to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. Literally steps away from the train station, and 10 minutes walk from Herculaneum. The room was beautiful and very clean, the owner was very kind.

I had only 2 issues: first of all you could hear everything from the next room, it is not soundproof at all. Secondly, we stayed for 6 nights and they didn't change our sheets once.

The location was OK, exactly on the train railway. The room was clean and fully renovated. The building was a shock at the beginning but once you enter the apartment you feel good. Libera, the hostess, was kind and helpful. She renovated the whole apartment with good taste. I would recommend it.

A very clean b&b, with a free usage of an espresso machine in lobby. Owners very friendly, helpful and they also speak very good English. For people who smoke they have a bolcony with a table and chairs which is accessable from the lobby. The B&B is also right next to the public train station, and there are also, restaurants and turist guide with tours all over Naples and Taxi service. Great B&B if visiting again Ercolano will surley choose Iside 👍🏻🙂
